Long day today. we're trying to come up with some different kids programs at the library for this summer. We need to be prepared before school gets out. It also sounds like we may lose our library clerk also. The job at the library for her is very part-time. Tuesday evenings and every other Saturday. So we will have to pick up those hours, and hopefully find someone who can do those days plus be able to fill in for us if we need it.

I've been waiting for my insurance card that I paid premiums going back to October 1st, a month ago. Finally I called them today to see why I don't have my card yet. It showed in the computer that I didn't need a card. I had this insurance for a short time about 5 year ago, so they assumed that I would still have the card. Told her no, I don't have it because I threw it away when I went off of it. Butt she did give me the number so I can call all the doctors and hospitals and give it to them to finally take care of these bills.

Your kids are old enough to make their own dinner.

no

My DH is old enough to cook for himself yet I enjoy cooking for him almost as much as I enjoy eating it myself. Is cooking for your kids a bad thing now? Cooking good food is how I show my love so why the shaking head? I know you don't like lily but at least find a real reason to make fake smiley faces at her.

It's not a smiley face.

You're right it's a shaking head and of course that's a great way to deflect. Point out I called it a smiley face instead of answering the question. Why shake your head because lily was cooking for her kids? Lot's of people cook for their family but you would only say that to lily.

I am old but can someone cook for me? I won't shake my head.
There's nothing wrong with cooking for your children. Even if they are teens. It's called being a mother. Family time is precious.

SB and Tiny, you are both sweet girls.

I would make you something too.

Shoot. If I was making a cake, I'd let you lick the beaters.

If you're so sick you can barely get out of bed, then family should step up.

But it's HER life.

Yes and lily seems to do what needs to be done even if she's not feeling so well. I'm sure they step up if they need to but I still think you go out of your way to find fault with lily.
