TOTALLY GEEKED!

Ok so I can barely watch the news. The cable keeps freezing on the screen. The signal is all messed up. Trying to decide if I go out tomorrow night. Hour's drive to the comedy show and it could be snowing hard by the time it's over. Grrrrrr

It's 28 degrees. That's cold for us. A few more weeks and 80's will be in the forecast.

I have a black cat too. She is getting older now though. All she does is sleep.

Had a black cat named Lucky.

I have to go to work two hours early because we are finally having our first staff meeting in nearly 8 months. But Ick. It will make for a 12 hour day for me. My poor Pooch is going to suffer. I'll have to see if I can come home on a break . . .

C had her Valentine's date last night. He took her to Outback, and a movie. Gave her a teddy bear that is almost as big as she is, a box of Lindor truffles and a really nice set of body spray. She hasn't really stopped smiling. She said they also talked about their relationship and where it was going. They both want to take their time but both are serious about the relationship.

He really is good to her. So glad too.

Valentine's day has no real plans for us. Brother may or may not be here. If he is, then we will take him out to eat for his birthday. If not, then we will do something here.

He did. Ad I think he is.

I love his family, and him. They are good people. We have the same beliefs, ideas and values. 

They have known each other since they were Freshmen in high school. But they didn't become interested in each other as more than friends till a little over a year ago.

They sing together and have the same friends and have built a solid friendship before moving on to something more.

They both keep saying "God's Will" is what they want. And they just keep getting closer and closer.

She told me they haven't even kissed yet because they don't want to confuse their feelings.

She is so much smarter than I was at that age.

I will be very surprised if this doesn't become more.

 Don't tell my DD. She has one black cat named Elvira and insists that she needs a sibling. Not sure her tiny apartment could take another! 

 

Working a few hours today to make up for the days off earlier in the week. Then, I am making meatballs for DD and her BF for Valentine's Day. They wanted to stay home, eat spaghetti and meatballs and watch Lady and the Tramp. Lol. Are they 16 or 6? She has a game tonight and then back home for some well deserved rest for all of us.

 Considering they are 16, I have to admit, it could have been much less Disney and more, umm, inappropriate? Lol. They are good kids who are so busy with school, I think they just want a relaxing night off from their obligations. 

I left my computer on and logged into GT all day. Good thing DD didn't notice, lol.

I had a black cat named Mischief and he really lived up to the name.

Later on we found out from someone else the reason his key won't work is because he is behind on payments and the car has lowjack and the dealership turned the car off. We have a FB site here in my town where you can give away free stuff. I got a free huge bottle of conditioner for buying some other stuff at the store. I tried it once and decided I really hated it. So I put it up on the site. With instructions. First come first serve. I won't hold it for anyone. Must pick up. You have 24 hours to pick it up and I move down the line. First person right off the bat... Can you drop it off? Um no. Second person... Can you hold onto it till next week? I'll be in town then. Um no. And on and on it went. I finally took the ad down. I think I'll just take it to the crisis pregnancy center and donate it. Stupid people annoy me.

I just took it down. I'll donate to the pregnancy center. I'll stick it in the car and the next time we drive by it I'll run it in.
