Three hours of tiring shoveling. Bitter cold, and the wind kept blasting the snow spray into our faces.

But DH crock-potted a pot roast today, and coming in out of the cold to that was just heaven.

Now a generous slathering of Ben-Gay to the back, jammies on, and relaxing in a cozy house. Life is good.

So I id go to lunch today. Had the BEST coconut shrimp. Those things were huge. Bigger than a man's thumb huge. So good.

The only problem is, now I want more.

I gotta learn to make my own.

I am conspiring with my BFF's boyfriend to surprise her for her birthday. I'm looking at maybe booking us a spa day. I've never done this before, how much should I be looking to spend, what should I make sure is included? Anyone familiar with the Tampa area that has a recommendation?

Had a lovely Sunday. The weather was sunny and breezy with temps in the upper 70s-lower 80s. Got some shopping done at Costco (beat the crowds by getting there right when they opened at 0900 hours), and Safeway. Spent a quiet afternoon at home listening to music and doing puzzles. Tomorrow is a holiday for me. I will at least get to sleep in and have no plans yet for the day.
