IVY, Trudy. Sounds like you've got work overwhelm and snow overwhelm. I'm there too. It hurts.

I hope your headache gets better.

Ice is the worst!

I just found out my niece got engaged on Valentines Day. Her BF actually called my brother before to ask his permission. They already have a baby & live together so it's not likely he would have said no.

Anybody giving up anything for Lent? We are giving up screen time in the evenings. No TV or computers or ipads from when we get home until my little toddler goes to sleep.

I hope he has an early bedtime.  I don't think I could do it.  Thankfully I don't do lent.

Lent, 40 days until Easter!
Spring!
Warm weather!
Green grass!!
Mowing?
Bonny, we don't practice giving up something for Lent. I do like your idea though of giving up screen time. That time will be better spent bonding as a family.

I want snow. Not as much as you have but if it is this cold, I'd love a good 6 inches to make everything pretty.

O4, that is pretty. Be careful with the ice. Is G home?

I remember the blizzard of 93. I got snowed in with my BF. Being snowed in with a hot guy is sooooo much fun.

Just got back to the states sat. Left a country that was 90 degrees and came home to 0 degrees and lots of snow. It made me sick so didn't go into work for two days and I still don't feel to good.

Stay off the ice if at all possible! Sending G good thoughts for his safety. Glad you are safe at home!

I am totally burned out from claims.  And the crap people are trying to pull.  Let me tell you it won't be pretty soon enough here.  Await my brother whose tenant turned off the heat and went to FLA.  The two family house was completely flooded.  Really?  You turn off the heat???  That'll be at least a $100,000 claim.

Thank you, I'm better then I was but man what a shocker... I didn't have any winter clothes because I had to make room for all the baby clothes so I did manage to buy a sweatshirt and that helped. Monday I was so chilled I couldn't get warm. Now I just need my tummy to get back to normal.

I really shouldn't complain though I did miss 6 weeks of winter and got to be there to babysit my granddaughter and to meet my new granddaughter.

I'm so glad you were able to be there for the new grand baby and to enjoy your DGD for so long!

Coming back here must be a downer for you.
