Um. I was a royal bitch today. People kept asking me if I was ok.
If you didn't kill anyone you're okay!

I honestly wasn't nice. Every one just got on my nerves. it's the weather. I know it's not as cold as other places but it's cold for us and it makes me miserable.

Oh my, I can relate to being miserable from the cold. I'm a bit cranky whenever I have to leave the house!

I'm tired of the bitter cold too. It's a long walk from the parking lot to the door of the hospital, and yesterday I didn't think I was going to make it. It was bitterly cold and windy. Luckily a nurse saw me coming and let me in a private door that was about 100 feet closer than going to the regular door. I've walked on average about 1.5 miles everyday this week if my pedometer is fairly accurate.

Awe, I'm glad the nurse helped you out yesterday.
You are really doing good with improving your tolerance. Good job!
Hopefully, when the weather gets warmer, you can keep on walking more.
I'm beginning to think it's never going to warm up..

I hope he is, but I don't know. I haven't talked to him since the ban.
Tell him for me he has to come back. I miss arguing with him lot's and I never wanted him to get banned. I promise not to drive him over the edge next time.
I don't believe you.

Okay folks, enough about Husker.
We don't talk about people, when they aren't around.
Let it drop, please.
Thanks.
I just read the rules and I didn't see anything about not talking about posters who aren't around. So is this an official new rule? Just curious.
Well, it isn't in the rules.
I just went back, and reviewed them.
Back in the day, we didn't talk about members who were on a temporary ban. (I think it was in the rules, back then.) I can't remember, for sure.
It just isn't nice. IMHO.
The person who is in "time out", has no way to defend his/her self.
Again, this is my opinion. If LL wants to make it a rule, that is up to her.
I agree FWM. It's just basic common courtesy, which I understand some people struggle with.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
And people on a temporary ban who will be reinstated are not comparable to people who purposefully bitch, flounce and delete. That action is your own. The ban acts as the punishment when it is doled out. When you flounce, you get talked about - as on any board. But for clarification, nobody would be allowed to sit there and call you names just because you flounced. However, "I don't care that she gone" or "I didn't like her" are not name calling nor against the rules.

I stopped to pick up McDonalds for breakfast. I ended up with an extra sandwich. A coworker was in to ask a question and joked about if I had any extra in the bag. I said sure, here. He kept trying to pay me for it. I said geez, would you just let me be nice! I told him if he really felt he needed to pay for it, he could do something nice for someone else.

When I was at the Asheville airport last fall, I was standing in front of a fast-food place. A man in uniform told me to go ahead of him. I told the cashier that I wanted to pay for his order too, but she didn't speak English very well, so it didn't happen.
Lunch is up in the air for us. DH took the day off so he could go with me this afternoon. He cooks for himself, so does dd, and I just throw something on a plate and eat.
Chinese does sound good though.
