Well, here's the deal. IKWTDS made a thread the morning the day before. And not one person complained. And Czech routinely makes them the night before. I don't care. But when I made one the night before those same people got their panties all in a wad about it and have been complaining incessantly. Hell, I even got called ignorant. There's a handful of people here that no matter what, when, how, or where I post they have something to comment, suggest rules, have "helpful suggestions", or offer unsolicited advice. None of which I have asked for nor do I want. And none of which I really care about. There's a handful of people who have formed a little gang to pick and poke. It's very reminiscent of the original MM board. They like to be very passive aggressive and then step back and say, "What? Little old me? I had NOTHING to do with this..."

So, I will continue to post when I want and where I want and how I want.

Yes. And just because you say you're not making rude comments to all of my posts does not mean it's not true. But again, feel free to believe whatever BS you choose to spew. The truth is there are several of you who feel the need to comment constantly on my posts. No one else, just mine. That is the truth. You can call it whatever you want but the truth is the same few people are constantly making negative comments on my posts. ESPECIALLY if I start a daily. I've been told when I can and can't start it. And how to start it. I don't see you and the others telling ANYONE else else that. Why is this any different than your post on page 1 of this thread giving ME permission to like NJN for being contrary ? I really like you flan, but this is a classic example of something that is good for you,but not for others to say.

It seems silly to me to get so upset over who posts what and when. NJN is awake latest and so usually starts the daily. Who cares? Sure she could wait until morning, but some of us like to see what has been posted overnight and would miss that. So deal with it people.

You have no idea what is going on in my life and what stress I'm under. Things are actually going quite well lately tyvm for judging me. And you do as little as possible to feel compassion.

My tone has changed because there is a small group here that has insisted on telling me how, when, where, and what I should post. Unless you are a mod I don't need your advice or opinion so keep it to yourself. I was even called ignorant last night. Oh, but I'm supposed have such a "nice" tone when someone calls me ignorant. And then I had you saying it was the truth. Hmmm, maybe it's NOT the stress in my life but the rude attitudes of a few posters lately toward me.

My two cents on the dailies, more than one is ridiculous.

For a while the dailies were all started with a depressing title. Morose Monday, Tepid Tuesday, and it was every day. I would rather the definition or even a thead that, gasp, doesn't have this alliteration all the time.

NJN, you are a southern girl now, learn the proper use of "Bless your heart" and apply it where necessary here.

Now. I am still not top of my game. Had a rough couple of days. Trying to let the antibiotic do its thing but I think I am going to need another round.

WE GOT SNOW!!! And may get more. It's really pretty right now. I am sure I will be tired of it by tomorrow.

I used to like the daily threads, because I never have a lot of time to linger on the board. It was a nice way to check in with folks, without having to read every single thread.

But the dailies have become about 90% fight and 10% fun.

I certainly don't have time to scroll through all that fighting to find the rare nuggets of good stuff.

Those of you with more time to spend, have at it.

I'm outta here. Can't stand the fighting and childishness. From supposed adults.

I'll check back in a few weeks to see if y'all have learned anything from this and have stopped the ridiculousness.

I'm not going back to research, but I believe it started when a photo was posted of a bug that was found in fast-food french fries. Some of us didn't want to see it & another Daily thread was started.

I think we found a house!

We are going to take tonight to think it over, but I'm pretty much sold. The price is right, it has everything we want/need, and it is still being built so we will get to pick to our preference on things like flooring and cabinets, etc. Downside is that we will have to do all the landscaping this summer- but DH is really good at that :)
