Nah.  Not at all...  If we can have multiple dailies and do them way ahead of time then this is nothing!

Ugh. I am sick and tired of my job. They've offered me 2 double (14hr) shifts this weekend at complete over time and I want to tell them to stick it. I don't need the money that badly (except I do . . .). I can't even get through my regular shifts without wanting to kill someone, so why would I want to be there MORE? I love the work I do, but I can't STAND the job.

I'm not taking any of it.  I'll work my 10hrs tomorrow, and then I'm off for 4 days. I don't need to do an extra 20.  I'm going to lose my $hit on them anyways at some point - why speed it up??!

 That's it!!!! Lol

All the bacon talk made me hungry so I made bacon mac n cheese and had Chardonnay to go with it. Almost all the adults are are on spring break (away from the school) so those adults that were left kind of met up and had an informal get together. But it's not even 10pm and we are all home. Lol. Old farts that we are.

I have a thiffy-one party to go to tomorrow. Not looking forward to it but the woman hosting it is in charge of employee housing and we want a different place...so I am going with a smile on my face !

We just got news that one of DH's coworkers who got laid off at the same time as him committed suicide. He hung himself by his belt from the stairwell in the basement. I hope this doesn't upset DH too much. Maybe that didn't sound good. He has a lot on his plate being laid off. This is something else to deal with.

Morning everyone.

So sorry NJN

Sorry work sucks for you Tig & LL

I've been really busy for the past month or so. I am disorganized by nature & having so many open files on my desk at one time is making me nuts. I am losing things & putting the wrong paperwork in the wrong file. I misplaced a policy. I found it but geez I'm spinning out of control.

That is really sad, NJN. I'm sorry to hear it.

Sorry about work sucking, LL, Tig, and Lexxy.

Well, for once I'm glad Paul is staying in Denton to study for the weekend.

We have snow, and folks are playing crashy cars all over the place. It looks like nothing is moving on all the major highways.no

What a mess. A good day to hide in my warm house.wink

I probably couldn't make it up to Denton if I tried, Lexxy. Hundreds of wrecks. People on I-35 and I-30 are leaving their cars behind, and walking out.

Just got the Eagle alert call. UNT just closed. Again. The third time this week.

This is crazy, for North Texas.no

Lexxy, I'm watching the local news, and it's just crazy. They had to shut down all the flyovers in the Mixmaster. They iced up, and no one could make it over them. Those poor people are walking out.

I haven't heard of anyone being killed. Yet. I pray all these folks make it home safely.

Hi Czech!

That happened once here when we had a bilizzard back in the 70s. I don't remember much because I was a kid but people abandoned their cars & the snow got so high they were buried & the 4 wheel drive rescue vehicles that were volunteering to find people & take them home were driving on top of the buried cars.

Lexxy, I remember storms like that as well in the 70's. And the 60's! We had one like that here 5 years ago. Miserable time, just miserable.

Well, moving from Ohio to Texas, back in 1996, I had a hard time believing that an inch of snow could close everything down.

But, when a city the size of Fort Worth only has 18 salt/sand trucks, there is no way they can treat all the roads. They try to hit the bridges and overpasses and flyovers on the major highways.

And sometimes, they can't even get to all of them.cry

It's a mess! That's for sure.

No.  Is sparklite what powers this board?  That would scare me too, but we know LL wouldn't pull the plug without warning.

Wow FWM, I do feel sorry for you people in the warmer regions when you have storms like that. No way you people can handle it, you just don't have the equipment.

I had a GC to Whole Foods so I went there this morning. The prices are ridiculous so I don't shop there. I bought about 9 items and it cost $58. I almost laughed. I don't understand how these stores stay in business. Had I bought the things at my regular store it wouldn't have been more than $40. DD and I are going to the mall in a bit so she can use her GCs she has from xmas and her bday.
