I had to stop hanging out with them because she liked for him to bruise her. I couldn't stomach it. She bought her 19 year old son tickets to 50 shades of grey. Really?

 That part made me barf.

shame on them.

I hope he finds someone to talk to and he gets through this rough patch. Poor kid.

We went to dinner with them a couple times.  I hated it.  It made me so uncomfortable to see hand prints on her face and arms.  And to see chain outlines on her neck.  I just couldn't stomach it.

Finally, I started the quilt! Have all the material cut and have four blocks completed!
Gosh, making 160 2 1/2 inch squares sure is tedious...
This girl is going to bed.

Thanks! It was down to 2 that we both liked. She didn't choose my favorite, but I liked them both. I smiled said "great choice, I love it" and paid the bill. Lol.

I'm not sure who would want the loser.  But apparently some women do because this is his third marriage and he has never held down a job in any of them.  He has also been abusive to every wife.  And cheated on every wife.  He has several kids he's not allowed contact with.  SS says he's been smashing things in the house, drinking a lot, and leaving his g/f's stuff laying around.  Mom is well aware that he is having an affair but "loves" him.  He is her "soul mate".  She doesn't want to leave.  She wants HIM to change.  Good luck there.  This is his lifestyle.  And she's tolerated it for five years.  So doubtful he'll jump up and say, "I love you and am going to make this work."  He's tired of her and is moving on to the next women.

What's the irony in all this?  When DH was in Afghanistan for six months he came home to a wife who was three months pregnant by this druggie.  He wanted to stay with her and keep the marriage intact for the sake of HIS son.  But she wanted out because she was with with her now husband the douche.  She got an abortion, filed for divorce, and left.  So, she left DH because she was having an affair.  Now her husband is having an affair.  Karma is ugly sometimes.
