Leanard Nimoy passed away last night. A great loss to all science fiction fans of Star Trek.

I like the title of this thread better so I will post here.

Loved him in Star Trek. He played the part so well.

Mr. Spock was my first pre-teen crush. I don't think I ever really got over my first love. He was a remarkable individual.
He joins Mr. Scott and Dr. McCoy. May they all rest in peace.

sad--he created a character whose idiosyncrasies and one-liners became part of our national lexicon--he was the sane, straight man to Kirk's rebel and McCoy's cynic--some of the most memorable exchanges however were between Spock and Mr Scott

what a great era in television--Roddenberry hit a homerun with the series--ahead of its time indeed--sort of a precursor to Lucas and Star Wars

Me, too, and ditto everything you said.  I spent many fantasy adventures with the crew of the Enterprise.

Star Trek was the bridge that destroyed racism, IMHO. Light years ahead of social norms of the times. I was molded by Star Trek's inclusion of all races and cultures.

They inspired science the world over as well. For that, I am grateful.

After the Boston Marathon bombings he tweeted a message out to all Bostonians and ended it with LLAP.

He joins Majel Barrett (Nurse Chapel) and Mark Lenard (Sarek, Spock's father) as well.

May they all rest in peace.

Oh I know!  Not a criticism.  I'm am proud I can make that LLAP sign with both hands at the same time without having to "help" my fingers stick together.  One of my many talents.
