That was the first place I ever had chicken cordon bleu. It was always good.

This is going to sound crazy but the best fried pickles in the world are at a little food booth at our local airport. My guess is that they're some really cheap brand or something and that's why they're good.

The best fried pickles I have ever had were at the fair. They were using that oil to fry everything in. Corn dogs, sausages, fritters, pickles. And they had a bit of a spicy kick to them.

I love fried pickles but the best are the airport pickles!

I had a hankering for Red Lobster based on one of their recent promotions. I took 2 'virgins' there who kept muttering about fast food lobsters.
I decided to have a feast and told them, separate checks because I am enjoying my food and drink tonite.
They changed their tune. They made fun of my desire for the biscuits until they tasted them.
I probably had not been there for 5 or more years.
IN a month or so, I am going to OLive Garden with them......no we have more authentic Italian restaurants , but I LIKE Olive garden.
SO, I will start looking for the coupons....

I had my day yesterday all planned. I was going to go over to the city in the afternoon to go shopping and then go to red lobster for dinner. My plans got hijacked, no red lobster. It made me sad.

I guess I am pretty lucky, I live on an island surrounded by FISH and SHRIMP! Often, friends of DH who fish but don't EAT fish will call us from the boat ramp, and drop off fish that were swimming less than an hour previous.
I buy shrimp direct from the shrimp boat docks during the season. DH is allergic, but I've never had better than our local wild caught.
I'm soooo jealous of those of you who live near the coast.
I love seafood and fish, and frozen just doesn't compare to fresh. I live in the land of lakes, so I get lots of fresh lake fish, but fresh shrimp, crab and lobster, etc. would be so awesome.
I like Red Lobster, but their stuff does tend to float in butter. Not that that's an entirely bad thing. But I suppose it's like anyplace, depends upon the cooks.
