I went back and re-read the article. I think she sounds self aware. 22 is young to be making life long choices but hell, we send our kids to college and invest in a career path for them and how are they supposed to know they're really going to like being an accountant?
This is simply something that doesn't sit well with people with the mom gene. Those who don't have the mom gene see it differently.
But the point is, really, that she doesn't have to justify this to anyone. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of folks years before they learn they don't have to justify their decisions. Many of us still struggle with a simple NO.

Hmmm. Nope. There are a lot of things I don't like even though I haven't experienced them. Poverty, bankruptcy, murder, racism. And damn roller coasters.

You are missing out. And I think this is the only one actually comparable to having kids.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
I, too, believe a person can know they won't like something without experiencing it.
I don't understand why some find it so hard to believe a person does not want kids.
