There are other treatments that work as well but then the doctors wouldn't make all that money off the chemo. So yes do some research of your own and stop taking the advice of someone who doesn't want you spending your dollars elsewhere. It's to the advantage of the AMA to have you believe it's the only way.

Again--they were RIGHT.
But in general, yeah, I'm going to trust actual science rather than witch doctors.

Haha...when you get your medical license I'll believe you know what you're talking about. Until then I'll take it along with all you other "I know everything" posts.

I got mine the same place you got yours.
I, however, will defer to those who are actual, you know, DOCTORS such as the ones who treated this girl. YOU are the one spouting off crap like you are a doctor--in exact opposition to, you know, ACTUAL doctors.

I researched it for very personal reasons and I'll bet you money I know more about the treatments for cancer than you've ever even heard of because the big pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know and they're paying your politicians to keep the money flow going. I'm sure next you'll tell me it's all a big conspiracy and laugh but we all know how Uncle Sam is all about doing what's right for you and not for Uncle Sam. You are also always saying how intrusive government is yet you think they should be making medical decisions...hmm. I don't disagree that the chemo helped but at what cost to her quality of life in the future.

Oh, I see. So--you being a NOT doctor gets to criticize me for also being a NOT doctor, when I'm in support of actual medical science that WORKED. LOL!!!!

Also, I would like to see a copy of your research where it was published. Was it a double blind study that included human trials? What were the methods? What was the LSD?
Or did you just read crap on the internet and call that "research"?

So nothing other than what she received will work? I never said getting the chemo was wrong for her situation. What I said is she opr her mother should have the choice. If you believe the government has your best interest at heart I will try not to laugh at you.

I enjoy debating with husker. I'm pretty sure I post more than infrequently if not as much me me me as you. I'm not sure why you bother with me when obviously you don't like me. Mostly because we disagree I'm sure but I'll grow on you like a fungus before you know it...lol

Cause one of those have nothing to do with the board. Can't be discussed on the board. So it doesn't matter.

Some other, actual MEDICINE might have worked--although actual DOCTORS thought this was the best course of treatment--and they were RIGHT.

Husker called me ugly because we disagreed. He has no clue about me so how did I cause that flan?
You said I had a "Madonna complex" on that thread--and that was NOT a compliment. You have said on another thread just today that I have the "compassion of a ringworm".
So who is insulting who?

I've learned from you that if you just make it a general statement it's all good. Please quote where I said you had a Modonna complex or where I called you a ring worm. It's kind of like that whole ****holster thing. If the holster fits, wear it...lol

It was on the thread about government benefits.
Remember now?
flan
Quote where I called husker a ring worm please.

If you were a mature adult, you would admit it. Do you actually think you're fooling anyone?
flan
Quote it then flan. Making accusations and then running away. I should have known.
I have quoted it. husker has quoted it.
flan
No a quote is where you cut and paste my actual words not what you'd like to pretend I said.
These words?
Yes because catastrophe's and medical hardships don't happen to people who plan. Some people have about as much compassion as a ring worm.
flan
That is a general statement. Not a personal insult. Use some common sense.
