There are other treatments that work as well but then the doctors wouldn't make all that money off the chemo. So yes do some research of your own and stop taking the advice of someone who doesn't want you spending your dollars elsewhere. It's to the advantage of the AMA to have you believe it's the only way.

Again--they were RIGHT.

But in general, yeah, I'm going to trust actual science rather than witch doctors.

Haha...when you get your medical license I'll believe you know what you're talking about. Until then I'll take it along with all you other "I know everything" posts.

I got mine the same place you got yours.

I, however, will defer to those who are actual, you know, DOCTORS such as the ones who treated this girl.  YOU are the one spouting off crap like you are a doctor--in exact opposition to, you know, ACTUAL doctors.

"Cancer" is still one of the most frightening diagnoses. There are plenty of people who prey on sick people with claims of "miracle cures."

I researched it for very personal reasons and I'll bet you money I know more about the treatments for cancer than you've ever even heard of because the big pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know and they're paying your politicians to keep the money flow going. I'm sure next you'll tell me it's all a big conspiracy and laugh but we all know how Uncle Sam is all about doing what's right for you and not for Uncle Sam. You are also always saying how intrusive government is yet you think they should be making medical decisions...hmm. I don't disagree that the chemo helped but at what cost to her quality of life in the future.

Also, I would like to see a copy of your research where it was published. Was it a double blind study that included human trials? What were the methods? What was the LSD?

Or did you just read crap on the internet and call that "research"?

And he WAS goaded before his 30-day ban.

I enjoy debating with husker. I'm pretty sure I post more than infrequently if not as much me me me as you. I'm not sure why you bother with me when obviously you don't like me. Mostly because we disagree I'm sure but I'll grow on you like a fungus before you know it...lol

BS! You are trying to stir the pot.

If you were not, you wouldn't be bringing it up.

The rest of us have let it go. I don't know why you can't.

I am addressing Flan.

On the boards or in PMs?

Cause one of those have nothing to do with the board. Can't be discussed on the board. So it doesn't matter.

I just learned something. Ringworm is not a creature, it's a skin disease.

 These words?

Yes because catastrophe's and medical hardships don't happen to people who plan. Some people have about as much compassion as a ring worm.
