I don't think the government is going to attack us and force use to use the "I feel fat." emoticon.
I didn't say that & you know it.
flan
flan you use that shaking head emoticon and it's the most judgmental of them all yet if I say I'm feeling fat with an emoticon you think that somehow insults someone else. This is what you see in the dictionary by the definition of irony.
I agree. And I would not be in favor of eliminating that shaking head emoticon either.

For the record I really don't think banning emoticons is the solution to anything.

I use that emoticon to indicate that I disagree with a certain statement. Period.
I can't help if a poster get his or her feelings hurt.
I've had it used on me as well. It's just no big deal.
flan
Looking down and shaking your head does not mean disagreement. You know exactly what it means but use it anyways. It means you are looking down on someone in disapproval. Try saying I don't agree and giving and actual reason instead of the non-response you usually give and maybe we could have an actual debate.

Putting words in my mouth OR twisting my statements = klassy.
LGS appears to be the winner of the fat shaming contest!

What does this mean other than I have no point to debate? I didn't put words I put an emoticon that you use very frequently and what it actually means. When you'ready for an actual debate come back and we'll talk. Otherwise we'll just post emoticons at each other. That's my stance from now on flan.

Let's see: You called me a liar, and I do give "actual reasons," but it'd be great if you ignored me.

Sure. You'd never use it in a derogatory way. I think you're smarter than that flan. Please stop being coy. I know you are the one who gets mad when we (or anyone except your "friends") disagree so until then we'll just agree to disagree because I know someday you'll love me and appreciate my special brand of humor.

Okay, so let's ban all these emoticons and then everyone can just type out "I feel fat." or SMH or I'm sleepy. Cause you know, like no one has ever thought of doing THAT.

I just want to know what color lipstick the girl in the red shirt is wearing. I love it!
Um this is a shaming thread MM. NOT a constructive thread!

All three are probably wearing the same shade. Skin tone makes a huge difference in how it pigments.

I miss that "shocked face" emoticon that MSN boards had. It was my favorite.
I've been to Sumo Wrestling matches when I was in Japan. Not speaking the language, I accidentally ended up walking into their locker room. Needless to say, I got a good view of their bodies. Those guys are HUGE! And apparently they are groomed at a young age to develop their bodies that way. There is some kind of stew they eat which puts their weight on. I have to wonder the life expectancy of a Sumo wrestler.

It's not good. Most don't live to 50.
As for a shocked emoticon, what's wrong with this one -
