Yep, after all the snow this season Boston needed 1.9" more to break the record. The forecasted "coating" turned out to be 2.9" today so we comfortably broke the record. Ya hoo...

All I can think about is what a mess it is going to be when the snow starts melting. Hopefully there will not be an unseasonable warm front causing everything to melt in a number of hours. You do not need flooding after all the snow this winter.....

 Luckily it has been melting slowly over the past week so we may be in luck with no flooded basements, unless you live near a river or such.

WE DID IT! This crazy winter has not been for nothing.

We were cursing this latest pelting snow this afternoon, driving home in it.

Then DH said maybe we'll break the record?

And we did!
