My crockpot beans totally didn't work out. The liquid didn't reduce nearly enough. So basically I have beans in water. With pieces of floating ham. Blech. Extended the them, hoping it works :(

I'm keeping my 2 yr old nephew today. (He's Sis's grandson.). Don't they realize it's been 22 yrs since I had a 2 yr old? Oh my, what are we going to do? I have zero kids toys at my house and it's too cool to be outside. First stop, Walmart toy department. 😀

I got my Aunt of the Year award the day I looked over and my nephew was playing with a bottle of tums,some Tupperware bowls and an old cell phone

Drain off extra water and simmer for another hour, add a dash of seasoning and it should be fine.

I'm eating lunch at the coffee shop my church runs. I was supposed to meet my pastor, but he had to run. The guy "working" has no idea what he's doing. I don't know what drink this lady is going to end up with, but I'm fairly certain it's not a macchiato

You used plain water? Next time try using either chicken or veggie broth.

What did you let it cook on? I let them go on high. Takes a good 12 hours.

Sorry it didn't work out.

But hey! You could always make refried beans with them!

I like my Hamilton Beach Brew Station. No pot to wash. Or drop and break.

I might just buy a second one. The one I have now is set to go off at 4:30, for Wayne. I could set the second one to go off at 6:30, for me.

This might be the best solution, without dropping a ton of money.

That is what I have & I liked it very much. It has been on the top of my fridge for 3 years now. I just never bother making coffee at home anymore. I'd give it to you but the shipping is probably more than a used coffee maker is worth. Plus I bet it is pretty dusty by now. It's not like I dust the top of my fridge.
