I have splurged on a cleaning lady(co worker) she helped out before Christmas in every room but my bedroom.
This was the weekend of garbage bags. 3 large contractor bags full of to donate stuff. ANd friend was kind enough to volunteer to take them with her to get them out of my head. I did help her load them in her car.
There were many many white kitchen bags full of trash that went out.
I now have a huge bedroom, who knew??
I am sleeping better, I am using the CPAP sleep apnea machine.
Got an excellent haircut, which made up for last 4 ok haircuts.
Then the client who wrote my boss an absolutely glowing thank you letter about me to my boss. This gets sent to the highest echelon who all send me att'a boys emails. Then they discuss this at their meeting and several people vouch that I am a terrific worker(producer).
Wouldn't you think that was enough? Sure. But I got it in my head to get a new-to-me car this week. So I went from a 1999 Camry w 154,900 miles to a 2011 (even the same decade) with 51,000 miles. I feel I got a fair bargain because I left 2x before I came in to seal the deal.
And today was the end of two weigh in challenges. I don't care how I placed (math is not yet done) I entered a random raffle and won a pair of movie tickets!!! And when it hit email, I heard shouts of congratulations all over the floor and the next department. Nice...Got my picture took and everything.
Then when the world cleared out, went to my cleaning lady friend, swore her to secrecy and gave her the tickets.
Yes Hypomania can be fun.
Waiting for the slap, it will come and I will deserve it for all this hubris. But be happy with me for a minute.

karma came knocking not unexpected. dd and sil are being transferred (military) to an area that is way too far away. but it is in the us and likely they will not be in extreme danger.
i will go into mourning for a while but then come out loving whatever opportunities there are.
i cannot leave here i have a very strong emotional attachment here. my friends help me make it thru the days i cannot leave them i cannot rely on my dd and sil to support my entire psyche.
tomorrow morning, it will be chin up time

In the US and not in extreme danger - that's a win. Being far away sucks. I am sorry about that. But what a good attitude you have about it. You are entitled to a day of "this sucks". Tomorrow, like you said, chin up time. You can do this!!

My cousin's daughter and SIL are overseas (he's Army) with her two grands. Skype is an every day thing with them and they all love it. The grands get to show their grandparents all the cool things they're doing and seeing.
