So, these holidays are rapidly approaching.  Another board was posting ideas and menus.  What are you having/making?

I think it will just be DH, myself and MIL for Easter.  I have a boneless leg of lamb that I may grill.  I may do deviled eggs because you all made me crave them now.  Scalloped potatoes or duck fat potato galette sounds good.  And a veggie. I may make rolls, if I get motivated or just have MIL bring them with the dessert she is bringing.

We are doing a small dinner. We got a ham the other day. Probably mashed potatoes, green beans or broccoli, and I'll make a loaf of bread. And deviled eggs for sure. I'm going to make a carrot cake and some lemon bars for dessert.

My nieces are coming over after church. We're having a honey baked ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green beans, a Mexican corn dish, deviled eggs and rolls. For dessert I'm making a lemon tart and a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting.

Real butter! We pull it out when it's hot, let it cool enough to cut but where it's still warm, and then smear butter on the warm bread!

My SS would love chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. He loves Reeses. No one else here does though.

No one in my extended family has mentioned Easter. Need to do a phone call tonight. I really don't care if there is no get together. DS and I will go hiking and make a meal instead. DD is with her father.

I have a small ham. Will do mashed sweet potatoes, some candied carrots, probably green beans, deviled eggs, rolls and coconut cake and banana pudding.

I will make boneless leg of lamb, roasted fingerling potatoes, asparagus, salad...and whatever else comes to mind. Actually, I am so looking forward to leftover lamb...I adore cold lamb sandwiches!

We will likely eat as DS2's house, since DS1 will be here. Ham for sure.

I'm thinking of paying him NOT to make the obligatory green bean casserole.

Ooooh! I know! I'll bring rice pilaf again, so my kids can tell me how "inappropriate" it is.

We go to the club for brunch. They put on a nice spread, complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt. All-inclusive, and I don't have to cook! Wooo hooo! We take my parents. We used to include the in-laws, until they decided to be mean.

I have to make some else to go beside the ham. J doesn't really care for it. I may add cheesy ranch chicken.

Or I may just trash all my plans and throw some burgers and dogs on the grill.

Me too! Well we pull it under the edge of the carport.

Used during snow storms and power outages.

I don't know why people get all that soup and sandwich crap for bad weather. That's grillin weather! Hehe...

You could grill dogs and burgers and have baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, maybe a fruit salad and a ton of toppings for the dogs and burgers.
