I tried yoga but I just cry the whole time. Something about being alone with my own thoughts is real depressing I guess :p

Awww. You should come with us. My coworkers and I have a riot. We break into giggles at least once

Because of all the farting? lol

Granted, the only times I've done yoga was when I was hospitalized, so I already wasn't in the best state of mind.

Usually because one of us fell over trying to do a pose. Or the instructor nonchalantly says do bla bla bla. And we're both like, um, not happening

Afternoon, y'all!
I'm finally up and moving, albeit slowly. Still recuperating from Friday's Fish Fry. We served over 130 plates - I had more than enough fish, breading, oil, and tartar sauce, but the people responsible for the cole slaw, potatoes, and hush puppies ran out about half way through (we served from 4-7). One gal made lots of baked potato halves, but when she put them in the oven to finish cooking, she forgot all about them. We were able to salvage some of them by cutting off the scorched parts, but we still had to send someone to the store to get 4 huge tubs of potato salad. All of the reports back have been very positive, so we'll probably do this again next year - but NOT the weekend after the chili cook-off! This poor old body just can't take that much stress.
I'm thinking of getting a massage tomorrow - Tylenol just isn't doing enough for my back and legs. Missed church today - something I haven't done in ages. Now I have to start getting things together for DH's son's visit next weekend - fish fry one evening, trash can turkey another night, maybe lasagna for the last night.

Take a nice hot bath Momala! Do get that massage tomorrow. I am glad to hear everything went well. Don't over do it this week.

I'm walking around like a little old lady! Did take a nice long bath (with marvelous bath crystals I got from Vette) - helped a little, but not enough. Couldn't even bend over enough to put the cat food down on the floor - DH has been wonderful in doing almost everything for me!

I have a 122 ft soduko puzzle book in the bathroom.  I think of Vette everytime I am using the bathroom. smile

Im a total klutz and I'm learning to love yoga. It's not as hard as I thought, once you give it a try. And find a beginner class, it's much less intimidating

I love yoga. I drop in for a class every once and a while, but mostly I do it in my living room at home. Just about every day. It's a great de-stresser after a workday.

And you can fart all you want at home.

It's barely after 5 and both my kids are in bed. Baby A has a double ear infection and probably RSV. I think DD7 has strep. If she's not any better tomorrow, I'll take her in. Sucks both kids are sick, but DH and I are relaxing and watching a movie!

I started my latest craft project. It is currently on hold. Apparently there are different sizes of needles. Who knew?

It's like needlepoint. You use yarn to make a picture on plastic canvas. I'm attempting coasters. My needle is too big to fit through the holes

Well there are some benefits to both kids being sick at the same time.
