NORTH ANDOVER — Police arrested a 48-year-old woman Friday night after she allegedly hosted an underage drinking party in which at least 50 teens were present and charged an admission fee upon arrival.
According to North Andover Police Lt. E.J. Foulds, Patricia Frank, of 111 Woodcrest Drive, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, procuring alcohol for a person under 21 and keeping a disorderly house. She will be arraigned in Lawrence District Court on Tuesday.
Foulds said police received a complaint of a party around 9 p.m. Friday. Officers responded to Woodcrest Drive and came across several youths who were leaving the party.
"The youths provided the officers with a lot of information about who was hosting the party and how they had been given alcohol there," Foulds said.
After speaking with the teens, officers approached 111 Woodcrest and later arrested Frank while the party was happening, according to Foulds.
Frank's two children were among those at the party, according to police. Foulds said he was not sure where the complaint came from, but did say it did not come from the house. He also said he could not disclose the amount of money Frank was charging the youths for admission.
"The investigation is still ongoing," Foulds said.
