You made some cup cakes a while back. You put a marshmallow in them.

Did you say they came out hollow?

I want to make empty tomb cupcakes.

First off, I GOT MY OWN THREAD. Second, yes, I used marshmellows. MOST of them turned out with a hole in them. Some turned out a total mess. If you do it push the marshmellow way down deep.

Thanks!

I've seen the resurrection rolls but they are made with cresant rolls. That's a different bread texture than cupcakes so I was curious.

And yeah! Your own thread! How cool is that?

LOL!

Some of the marshmellows bubbled up and it just made a mess. But the ones that were deep down made a hole. If you buy flavored marshmellows it will leave a jelly type filling in the hole that also tastes yummy. It will be a tiny bit of filling and a huge hole.

Eh, it was one of my cooking fails. But for Lily it could be a success! No biggie to me. I don't mind hearing about other people's fails during cooking. I might learn something. I just don't read it if it doesn't apply to me! And yes, I've had some big fails!

 Hmmmmm......

I want an empty hole.

Would you get the point of it?

I want to put a little cross on top, and the cupcake to have an empty hole.

MOST of them had holes. But the marshmellow melts and leaves a little bit of goo in the middle. But the goo doesn't fill the entire hole. KWIM? There's still a hole. Some messed up and floated to the top and just made a mess.

I understand what you are trying to do. I think it would work.

I just might try it then.

How big were the marshmallows you used? The little or big ones?

I have a spice cake mix I think I am going to use. It would represent the spices, oils and thing used to prepare a body then. And it looks like dirt or rocks.

Not sure about frosting.

Have to think about that one.

There is a gospel song, Love grew where the blood fell? Would like the represent that.

Ideas?

I used heart shaped ones that were about the size of the big ones. I think I would use a cream cheese frosting.

Hmmmm.....

That would taste great with the spice cake.

Wish I could find some tiny Easter lillies to put with the little crosses.

Agreed. And don't forget the "shove it" comment. That was keeping in the spirit of the holiday too. Right?!

I don't either. People make those lamb cakes all the time. They don't look like lambs to me. They're kinda creepy looking.

No that was just for you and your desire to be a pain in the butt. You are trying to be the board police.

See you would have gotten a simple Bless your heart but you have a problem with that and say you like the more straight forward approach but the shove it seems to be lost on you as well.

And what am I doing that is belittling my Faith? The tomb was empty. It was a hole in the rock.

Taking communion is a solemn event.

The empty tomb is reason to celebrate.

Actually what I said on the other thread was if you can't say something nice...ignore ignore ignore.

I am not trying to be the board police (whatever that is). All I did was state that you could have used a PM, or perhaps titled the thread a little differently. If you think it's anything different, I can't really help you.

You seem to be offended by pretty much anything I post so I am not sure why you continue to read my posts.

Cursing is déclassé and uneducated. But a plain ole "shove it" is acceptable. Southern manners at their finest.

Lets not forget, anyone can post on any thread they like right? Or is it just me that can't post on your threads? Who is being the board police now?

Heck, I'm a lapsed catholic currently atheist, and I'd still be more respectful of that "symbolism" than trying to create a version as a dessert.

MM, I don't know if you're addressing me but if you're ok with being told to "shove it", well.... I'm not from the South.  Perhaps I'd get into more fight if I visited there, if a "shove it" is acceptable?

Regardless, carry on, whether shoving it or not, LOL.smile

FLAN, why do you continue to make your snarky comments toward me? I have tried to ignore you totally but you just can't stop the snotty comments.

I don't understand why you feel the need to make them. You won't even comment about the thread or OP. Just a nasty swipe.

Why?

 Here's my comment:

A PM would have sufficed.

Or...GOOGLE IT.

WHY DID YOU TELL MM TO SHOVE IT?

You need a board break.
