I found this astounding. Pro abortionists will not like this ultrasound at all!

I've yet to meet a pro-choice person who was pro-abortion.

Even though I morally am against it, I can't outlaw it outright as there are too many scenarios that laws can not fathom.

Is there a scenario where you can see that an innocent human being is being killed?

I think there is a mercy in certain situations.  Babies with such abnormalities that they would have a painful existence for a few moments.

The rare (very, very rare) when a 10 or 11 year old is raped.

This fetus is 14 weeks old! Nothing wrong with this baby at all, yet there are those who would kill this child if it was inside them, simply because they can and they don't want the child.
To me, it is amazing what science has learned about human development in the womb. 14 weeks!!!!

Yeah, that's where the one's who would purposefully get pregnant and abort it live.  no

I don't understand people who just abort for convenience.  Oh, I just want to party and not be encumbered by a baby.  Then freaking adopt!

Oh Bonny, you have no idea how many of them are really out there. They can't stand the idea of someone else raising their baby, it is so much easier for them to kill it and walk away. no

But are u concerned that we might also be killing an innocent human being? What about that margin of error?

I think that in very rare cases euthanasia is acceptable and a mercy.  Life will always have a margin of error and I would hope that someone would seek a second opinion in a very rare case of severe fetal abnormality.   I couldn't imagine having a baby knowing that all I was doing was bring it into this world to suffer greatly and then die.

But, I can say that I see your POV.  I hope that even if you don't agree with me, you could see how in some rare instances this could be a mercy.

That was so cute!

But the problem will come with the fact that the repeated clapping was not real.

My "BS" alarm is going off looking at this:

Is there really enough room inside a uterus for a fetus (baby?) to move its' arms and hands like that?

Yes. There is plenty of room at 14 weeks.

It seems that people are more likely to err on the side of caution with a convicted felon than an innocent unborn child.

Nope. I do not care. I am not pro abortion by any means, but no, I will never support outlawing it, especially over something so silly.

There are too many exceptions to be made (for life of mother, for rape, for incest, for major defects, etc).

Adding even more stringent requirements will just create more of a headache for law enforcement and more paperwork.

The ONLY requirement I am okay with is before 22 weeks.

That is it.

Period.

If you don't know you are pregnant before then, you are simply too late, and get to deal with it.

And if you don't like abortions, by all means, don't get one.

I respect that you at least are willing to define an endpoint of 22 weeks.

Many of us have given similar endpoints in the past.

Not really. There would be an "oh but the mother doesn't really want the pregnancy or some other reason why it would be OK at any point.

Yes, there was a definite number of weeks given.

Would I lie to you?
