I didn't see a thread on the first page.

Okay: Itty bitty's official party is Saturday. DS1 is coming to Indy. I am staying far away from downtown!!!

Sunday DH and I will go to Meeting, then probably to DS2's for a small lunch.

I thought I had successfully dodged Easter dinner.  My SIL & niece are out of town for Spring break & My brother is working on a garage so I said there is no point in having dinner for just me, mom & aunt.  Now my cousin called & asked if he could come for dinner so now I am expected to show.  At least I don't have to cook though.  Bummer Trudy!

The Easter meal is at our house as usual. I love having our house full for a holiday!

Yup, I'm a happy camper.  smile

Ooooh, I bought Itty bitty the prettiest Easter basket! It's wire filigree, with crystal accents.

I'll be cooking.

I'll make a breakfast casserole.

And for dinner, ham and turkey breast, with some sides.

It will only be the six of us, so I'll try not to go over board.wink

I'm hosting an Easter brunch. Can't wait to give Little Man his Easter basket. Maybe a little Easter egg hunt too!

My Easter lily smells heavenly. I think that is my favorite holiday flower.

No plans here.  It is just a regular day for me.  None of my friends celebrate the day.  It will be my usual Sunday; getting out and about, shopping if I need anything, catching up on shows I missed on the telly, doing puzzles and online time.

First church and then we made a scavenger hunt for bf's son to find his basket. He loves scavenger hunts so we pretty much do them for every occasion :p

Sleep in. It's our only day off from our business, but we will be painting the guest room while it's empty (we'll be moving our current king bed into that room when our new bed arrives in 2-4 weeks)
Guest room will have it's first run of the year in June (when DS, DIL and our 2 DGS's come from Seattle)
Walk the dogs, watch a movie, and have boneless leg of lamb for dinner.

Cold lamb sandwiches for as long as the leftovers last.

DS and I are going to a nice gourmet restaurant downtown. DD is with her father. Our reservations aren't until 3 so I am hoping to start cleaning the garage out and getting it organized in the morning. Supposed to be a nice day.

Family drama: My sis who sometimes hosts Easter is going out of town, she live just a few minutes from Mom. My bro who live near me is out of town on business so his family is going to his in laws. I invited my mother up but she declined. DS and I can't travel. We both have early days on Monday. Plus DD comes home around 4:30 on Sunday. Mom says she is going to plan a meal out with some of her widowed friends. My sis sends me and my other Bro's wife and email saying that one of us should do something with Mom. One of those judgmental, trying to invoke guilt emails. My SIL spend most holidays with my family and this year has decided to spend, gasp, the day with her parents. Well I told my bitchy sis about my invite to mom. What does she do? She calls my father and tells him Mom has nothing to do and Dad calls me (BTW, Dad divorced Mom 20 or so years ago and has remarried 3 times) He is concerned Mom is alone, umm no, only if she wants to be. I talk to Mom daily, she is fine. My sis is a jerk. Sigh...

We weren't supposed to have SS on Easter but his mom wants him tomorrow. I'm kind of disappointed because both our bank and the vet's club are doing egg hunts tomorrow. Now we won't be able to take him. Our bank hides candy AND money in the eggs! The vet's do a lot of stuff for the kids. Last night we colored eggs. Today we're taking it easy. Tomorrow SS goes home and I will start baking with DH's help. Sunday SS comes back and DN and Sparkly come over too for Easter dinner.

We had been in the 80's all week, running A/C.

High only in the 60's today. Rain and high 50's tomorrow.cry

I just switched back to heat. (It's yo-yo time, in North Texas.)
