You have to understand my sister. She is the epitome of self absorbed. She "travels the world" and works our several hours a day. She tans regularly and goes to weekly hair and nail appointments. She wears designer clothes. Even her work out clothes are designer. She has never liked children. They're loud and dirty.

Why does that mean she's self absorbed?

Well, some people can change. I hope for the sake of her twins, she'll have a change in attitude.

Fingers crossed!

My sister is a biotch.  Sorry, there's no other way to say it.  I'm 17 years older than her but my parents raised her different.  They spoiled her and told her she was above certain people.  My sister will come out and tell you she's high class.  She wrote me a letter once and told me I was poor white trash and I needed to not contact my parents anymore as I was an embarrassment to our family.  It's not about tanning or getting your nails done so much as it is her attitude that she's better than everyone else.  And she will tell you she is.  She literally turns up her nose at people.  She's rude.  She is the rich type that easily writes a check to the homeless shelter but wouldn't be caught dead in that neighborhood.

She is the product of her upbringing FWM. She's snobby and snide and rude. Oh, in HER class of people she's charming. In us lower class of people she makes her contempt of us known. She went to a private Christian college where, at 21, she was having an affair with a married 56 year old professor. Yes, but I'm poor white trash. Go figure. She's another one that, as long as it's done in the name of Christianity, it's okay.

Nope.  I don't really like her.  She feels the same about me.  She's my parents favorite child and they will clearly tell you that.  My parents spent $15000 on her wedding dress alone.  I didn't even get a wedding gift.  lol  When they got married they bought a seven bedroom house.  Just because they could.  The two of them in a seven bedroom house.  I guess it just seems silly to me.  And they literally do travel the world.  So they're not even in the house a lot of the time.

Nope.  She's not.  Very pretentious.  I am who I am.  I don't cake make up on my face.  My sister spends HOURS doing her make up.  She looks nasty.  It looks caked on.  She looks fake tan, fake hair, fake everything.  I'm just not like that.  I am who I am.

FWM, it's nice to see young people like your Paul liking birds so much. Most of the bird watchers I see and know are older folks.

You all know that good use to mean holy, and that the original term was holy Friday right? It has nothing to do with the modern usage of the word.

I agree completely.  Our service was one of reflection, reverence and prayer.  The crucifixion was absolutely terrible.  I don't think may people realize exactly how much he suffered.  The "good" is not the happy, rah-rah good, but because of his actions, sacrifice and love to save us all.
