I survived the grocery...not too bad, really.

I may kill DS2...but I won't. Itty bitty would miss her Daddy.

Going to meet DS1 for lunch at 1:00.

I just left the theatres, Furious 7. It was really good, some of the action was pretty far fetched but, still good.

Could you pick out the fake Paul? Or any repeat scenes?

I want to see it. But I think I might find it a bit sad.

I didn't really notice, the very last scene showed his profile from a distance and I kind of thought maybe it wasn't him. There was a really nice tribute for him at the end though, it was pretty sad.

I can see I struck a nerve. The gluttony remark was a joke. I titled this Sinful Saturday and Gluttony is one of the seven sins. I thought it was funny. Apparently, I am the only that shares in my humor. Which is fine. Everyone else can sit there and be offended.

Roger that! A lot of people don't use them very much.

But, sometimes they come in handy. Just to avoid any confusion, if you catch my drift.smile

Gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins.  Sinful Saturday+gluttony=Easter Dinner.  I thought it was funny.  Of course, NO ONE EVER OVER EATS on Easter.  Ever.  That was sarcasm.  There's no emoticon for that.

We do that with meals as well.

But there is SO much more to running a household than the meals. I think that's what Bonny was referring to. Plus, with a toddler, there isn't much "me time" let alone time where you feel like doing something nice for someone else.

Thanks! We just tossed in an impromptu trip to Mall of America smack in the middle of the day. So I am sitting here checking my phone while DD is trying on clothes. She helped clean up today and will help tomorrow too.

Making a twice bake potato and lobster tail for dinner. Got every thing done that I had planned to do today. But it's still early so I may start on tomorrow's chores tonight. I am in such an energetic mood! Hope everyone has a wonderful evening and if no plans hang here with me on TG. I may have to pause for a bit, neighbor coming over for some wine.

I just need to choose marble color and what to paint the counter underneath.  I'm leaning toward red marbles. Maybe a few of a different color thrown in. Maybe white or black underneath.

I've been in and out all day. Tidied the kitchen and that's about it.  We invited Dd's BFF over for taco night so now I need to Cook, shred,  and chop.

How about using white, clear and light gold and adding a few reds as accent?

All you do is bake the potatoes then when cooled slice in half the long way.  Then scoop out the potato and use a mixer to make mashed potato like potatoes add in some green onion (chopped), fresh parm cheese, salt and pepper, some butter and any thing else you like.  Mix it all and then scoop back into the potato skins.  You can refrigerate and just pop in the oven  for 1/2 hour or so on 350 when you want to eat them.  Sprinkle paprika on for color.

Still no grand children in my future. But, Conor and Jessi adopted another dog!

So, I have two grand doggies!biggrin

This is a female, about 2 years old. A black lab/Australian cattle dog mix.

Her name is Duchess, and she seems very sweet, and good natured.

Ares seems to like her just fine.smile

What a surprise! They took Ares to Petsmart for his bath, and came home with another dog.biggrin

I got the home made carrot cake done. I shredded the carrots and had to crush the pineapple as I only had chunked. I threw in raisins and walnuts. I made the frosting too but I will wait till tomorrow to assemble it so it will be fresh. I finished the lemon bars and sprinkled them with powdered sugar. I was going to start on the deviled eggs but I think I'm going to wait.
