ahhh Good Morning! I feel rested. Ready for another week! snow is moving through the area but just flurries. It may case issues with the commute but at least no shoveling is involved. Gotta look on the bright side, right?

I have an avalanche of laundry to tackle today.

The dog is finally better. Gave him some ice cubes yesterday, that helped. Then I froze some broth and he loved that. Eventually he was back to normal. But he enjoyed the pampering in spite of his upset tummy.

Quick conference call for work, then off to the nature center for a walk with the dog.

We had a wonderful Easter here. Sigh, always sad to see the day end. Food coma is still in effect..
My mom had to put dad in the hospital yesterday morning. He has pneumonia and had a heart attack yesterday as well. My sister is with them today. I will be taking Wednesday and spending the day with them. Dad is a stubborn guy and for that I am grateful. Hopefully they can bring his heart rate under control, clear his lungs and send him home on Wednesday. We are hopeful. If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I would go then instead. Mom insists that we not disrupt our lives. So, we worry and keep in close contact. Dad is calmer if we are not hovering over him. So, I will wait my turn.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers for my dad. He will be 84 on the 28th of this month. We are lucky to still have him with us. Three years ago he was told he only had about six months to live, due to heart failure. He's done very well and has surprised all his doctors, but we all know his time is limited and he can pass at any given moment. His anxiety is very high, his heart rate is in the 140 range and they are trying to bring it down. He will be having an echo done sometime today to see how much heart function he has left. I am so glad my sister is with mom to help her through today.

I hope they can get his heart rate down, Czech. And that his test results are okay.
