Honest and for real, I have never tried an illegal drug.  Not even pot.  Yes, I did drink some in college and so if you mean that, then yes.  But, anything else, never did.  I never sought it out and never had any real opportunity to try it.

  I doubt that pot is any worse than alcohol.  Again, I never tried it so I don't know.  But, if adults want to use it and it is legal, I don't necessarily have a problem with that.  But, it is the height of foolishness to have so much to lose to risk it for that when it is illegal.

Yeah, how does a middle aged person get peer pressured into doing stuff? I sort of took the husband has someone who didn't experiment in college and now wanted to give it a go to see what he missed out on. Which is probably just a big fat headache.

Getting high at 20 is a lot different than at 45!

Yes. I was a real weekend warrior back in the day. Mostly pot. Loved getting high. 

 

This is is why I figure the guy in the OP is not new to this. I really figure he has already been there and done that and wants to do it again.

Ecstasy is trouble.

So many good reasons not to do it.

Can't think of a single good reason to do it.

Shame on the "medical professional" for using pot and ecstasy. Should know better.

Stupid curiosity kills people.

DH just had an overdose in his extended family. 25-year-old who was curious. Got into pot and then heroin, died of a heroin overdose. What a waste of a life.

 Nope.  I have never even tried a cigarette.  If I added up the amount of alcohol I've drank in my entire life would, it would not fill a 20 ounce coke bottle.  I guess you could say, I'm boring.

I smoked pot when I was a teenager. Tried a few other things too. But I grew up and became a responsible adult. I have too much to lose to experiment with illegal substances. I don't even go outside the lines when crossing the road in a marked crosswalk.

 Whenever people start talking about their wild college days and they turn and look at DH and I to chime in, one of us makes a comment about how we dont have any stories to tell because we got kicked out of the dorm...the baby wouldnt stop crying during quiet hours. It always makes em laugh!
