My parents both smoked while I was still living at home. My husband told my years later I smelled a combination of smoke and Charlie perfume. He dated and married me anyway.

Tig, just wait till you are out and smell where someone has been smoking. You won't believe how bad it smells and won't believe that was you stinking up things like that.

Not kidding. The smell of cigarettes can turn my stomach now.

Dec. 8th will be 9 years for me.

WAY TO GO! So so proud of you! Today will probably be the most difficult - if you can get through it, you're over the hump.
On my Sweet 16th birthday, the only gift I asked for was for my father to stop smoking. He had smoked Camels, Chesterfields, Pall Malls - all with no filter - for over 40 years - at least 3 packs a day. I had NOOOO idea what I was asking him to do would be so difficult. A couple of weeks later, he put down a half-smoked cigarette, and said "that's my last one" - and it was! I was so proud of him! That was the best gift I could have received.

 One year my dad promised us kids he would quit smoking on his birthday. And he did... ON his birthday... 

 My Dad did the same thing. Just woke up one day and was like, okay - I'm done.....

 My pawpaw did that. He went to get a pack of smokes from the store, they were out of his brand and said that was time he quit any way. 

He was smoke free for about 3 years. 

 

 Lol, no no no, I meant he only quit for the day of his birthday. :p

It is sleeting here and freezing rain, may get snow. I think my commute to work will be delayed, just wished I knew now what 6:30 am will be on the roads so I could sleep in.

I'm so sick of Chinese buffet. We probably go to this stupid place 3-4 times a month because it's bf's son's favorite. And he only gets French fries and bread sticks! He didn't even know it was a Chinese restaurant until I enlightened him a couple weeks ago!

Nice scents and a lot cheaper than perfume. When I put body cream on I can smell it much longer than perfume, too. All day.

I'm still using the Twisted Peppermint lotion I got for Christmas after I shower. Smells so minty fresh.
