12:42 in the morning and I am hot.

It's 68 outside. The A/C is set at 70. It's on and my fan is on. Humidity is at 87%. 

I love it.

72 hours without a cigarette. Nobody has died yet . . . including me. Thank goodness for the patch!

At this point, the nicotine will be completely out of your body. Unfortunately, that means that the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal will generally peak around this time. You may experience some physical symptoms such as headaches, nausea, or cramps in addition to the emotional symptoms mentioned in slide #3.

To fight the mental symptoms, reward yourself for not smoking; use the money you would have spent on cigarettes to treat yourself to something nice.


Well, the nicotine is not out of my body . . I am on the patch, but the rest of it applies.

The streets are coated with an icy snow mix. I slept in an extra 1/2 hour knowing that I head to work late, let the crap melt. Already lots of accidents out there

I'm up too!

And I'm still hot. Still humid.

J was up at 3 this morning, woke up miserable. Hacked like a two pack a day smoker for about 20 minutes and finally took more NyQuil. We will go to the doctor when he wakes up.

FWM, keeping ya'll in my thoughts and prayers.
IKWTDS, I can't believe you still have to deal with the snow. Hope this is the last one.

I finished coffee number one and am contemplating coffee number two. I've showered. I might make it through the day. I've ironed my sweat pants, found matching slippers, and even hired three dozen of my best friends all with babies and toddlers to go with for no other reason than to take up space and make noise.

 Raining here today too. Well in half my territory its raining. In the other half its snowing. Of course I am headed towards the snowing region. Of course. And for a long day too. Super. Great. Fantastic. 

I will be thinking about Czech and her family today and FWM and hers as well.
