I'm up. Took a walk. Making an egg. All morning at church because I'm helping with baptisms at the end of second service in addition to greeting for both services. Seems that half the volunteers are on vacation this week so we are short handed.

Love the zoo!

Finished my taxes and filed them. Yay, didn't owe, getting a little bit back.

Now I need to shower.

Trying to pull our service up online, but it isn't on just yet. Must be running a little behind.

You know that friend I was talking about that wrote a book? Well I sent him a PM simply saying hi and congratulations.

He PMd back and hasn't stopped. It's nice talking with him again.

Hope ya'll enjoy your day.

I was joking this winter about it snowing in the middle of summer so a person could enjoy it without freezing to death.

I will be missing until Tuesday. Today is the last day in the old place and internet is being turned on in the new place on Tuesday.

I miss my son but I know he's much safer at his great-grandma's than underfoot here. We found some things to put on the door knobs at the new place that supposedly childproofs them. You have to squeeze the sides and turn at the same time open the knob otherwise they just spin freely around the knob. We haven't put them on yet so hopefully they fit. Any bets on how long it will take Mr. Smarty Pants to figure them out?

See y'all Tuesday! Or whenever I have time to actually get on the board. I'm sure unpacking will go quickly seeing as how little hands make short order of full boxes, lol!

We have a bunch of metal scrap (old chairs etc) to take to the dump today. I'm glad we got all the yard work done Friday because it's been rainy all weekend.

Are you wearing a nicotine patch?  If so, don't wear it at night, it will cause horrible dreams, and unsettled sleep.

I love the zoo! So jealous.

Good luck with the unpacking Chef. I love that part. It's like Christmas - except you know you like all the stuff in the boxes, because it's already yours! Lol

Took the dog for a walk at the nature center. He rolled around in every patch of sun he found. Going to the groomer tomorrow so I just let him.

DD is babysitting the 4 year old twin boys of the Upper School director. They love her. The boys sent a video to DD asking her if she could babysit them and ended it with "we love you!" It was adorable.

I will be cleaning out the fridge today (blech) and doing laundry. Lots of laundry.

Awwwwwwwwwww Tig. I'm so proud of you. You're doing so well! But I have heard that about nicotine patches. I've never smoked so I can't even imagine how hard it is quitting. I give you a lot of credit though.

Last night we took the dogs walking. That was too hard on my knees. Today I did 20 minutes on the elliptical. I know it's not much but you gotta start somewhere!

We all walked half a mile yesterday. Walking is too high impact for me. I know that sounds silly. The elliptical is WAY better. It's less stressful on my knees. I did a little under half a mile on the elliptical today. I usually look at time when I'm on it. Twenty minutes. I used to do 45 minutes a day before I reinjured my knee.

The ones at my gym are cool. You can make it go up and down like stairs, make it like walking, or like running.

Mine is kind of like that.  It's like the ones you would find at the gym.  DH and I shopped around.  It was about $3000.  We found a half off sale.  Then they gave us a ten percent discount on top of that.  Then there was a screw up with the order so they threw in free shipping and installation.

I'm the exact opposite.  I don't like being around people.  I crank the tv up really loudly and peddle away.

Did I tell you DH spent $163 on me at Lane Bryant yesterday? Well, not quite that much. We had a $50 off coupon so it brought it down to $113.

Yeah, I don't like all the skinny buff people.  And I always feel like people are judging me.  Like if I only do 20 minutes it's not good enough.  I dunno.  I'm not paranoid but this is one area I don't like sharing with people!

Lane Bryant is expensive but well worth it! I got a nice pair of yoga pants, a very nice sports bra, a yoga type top, and two pairs of athletic socks. I already had socks but hated them. The sports bra is AWESOME. It was $50. A decent sports bra is well worth the money. You need the girls to stay in place and not give you a black eye.

Every article of clothing I've gotten from Lane Bryant has been either donated or I stopped wearing for some reason. I've never had an outfit rip, tear, or wear out. Everything looks as new as the day I bought it. They are worth the money.

Just don't put it in the dryer. That's what breaks bras down.

This sports bra is SO comfortable. And keeps the girls in place! I actually would buy more if they had more than black. It took me two days to figure out how to zip it up though!
