From the list NJN posted, I think she has made a lot of mistakes. The reporter that is.
Yes. I surfed for about an hour and looked at many many articles. I will try to go back and find them all but I might get blocked for putting so many links in one post!
I tried to be fair.

And in all fairness the towing company itself sounded like jerks. But I honestly couldn't find anything on the female clerk. They've had several complaints about a male employee including a very bad one where a male employee called a customer a f-a-g-go-t.

I don't care. By releasing the video of a private business matter - the towing company is the bigger butt. If a third party had videoed it and released it, fine. But these people were part of the argument, provoked her, taped it, and then released it.

Bet that wasn't the only time that week someone said roughly the same thing to one of their workers.
Still don't like how people are losing jobs and being suspended over words said in their private lives.

That's the thing. There is no private life every more. Every phone call, every text, every conversation, every interaction is pretty much taped and recorded and at someone's fingertips.
And we still live under the "perfect people" illusion. That somehow, somewhere , perfect people exist. And, we hold everyone to that standard. And, if nobody ever finds out that you yelled at your kid or accidentally parked in a handicapped spot or used paper instead of plastic, then you might be able to sustain that persona. It seems we are SHOCKED, SHOCKED, SHOCKED to find out that anyone is indeed a real person with other sides to them.

And she's YOUNG enough to know that!

Humans are humans flan. Doesn't matter the technology.
Well, IF the employee cursed her out then they both need to be at least suspended. Personally, I don't really care what happens to the reporter because it sounds like she's on self destruct mode and sooner or later she will end up in a situation she can't get herself out of.

She needs to learn self-control STAT.

Well, how is anyone supposed to learn anything if they are supposed to be executed on the spot for a faux pa never again to see the light of day? Honestly that is a serious question. We crucify people publically now for every misstep. We toss people into the trash bin as if they are no longer viable human beings. And, society is going to suffer for throwing people away at some point as no one is allowed to make mistakes in life without having their entire lives destroyed. Doctors who make a mistake for instance will lose everything. And, you say, oh yes, that Doctor should no longer practice. Well, then you lose that quality of experience where doctors do make mistakes (and, they ALL do) and learn from them and become more and more skilled. Someone makes a mistake and we immediately want to DESTROY them. Why?
So she should get fired for something that had nothing to do with her job? That makes zero sense and I hope it doesn't happen. When we start firing people for what they say on their own time we'd all have to stop post right here on TG.

As has been noted upthread, IF your job puts you in the public eye, then you better watch your behavior. Do you honestly think ESPN wants this harpy representing them?
Wow. Not much sympathy for the pretty girl huh? Why should the fact that she yelled at some tow company clerk be a big enough deal to fire her for? This has nothing to do with her job and it doesn't matter if she's in the spotlight or not unless she did it while working. Where's all your sympathy and empathy now flan (because you've never had a bad day)? Unless she had this tirade while on the job it should mean nothing. How would you like to lose your job for some of the things you've posted here?

You seem to have much more criminals than you do for someone who just blew off some steam who you want crucified.
I have never "blown off steam" like that. Ever.
Actions have consequences. So she's young, blonde & pretty...Does that give her a pass?
flan
I actually think the reason so many are calling for her head is precisely because she is blond and pretty.
No, it's because she feels so damn superior to someone working a menial job.
flan
And the tow lady didn't feel superior when she was being nasty and video-taping the incident? Husker is right. Apparently only ugly people can get away with being ugly. After all, they don't have pretty to fall back on.

Oh but come now LL. If you lose your cool dealing with anything and your a tv "personality" then you should be fired. Who cares if that's overkill. They must get their pound of flesh from the pretty girl.

It's pretty simple: I do outreach & am often recognized when I am out in the community...shopping or eating out. Even though I'm not "on the clock," I would never behave inappropriately, because I'm a professional.

I've seen you act inappropriately on here so I find it very difficult to believe you don't do the same in the real world.
