Your rain is heading this way for Monday. In the mean time, a different storm is moving in later today. The ex is picking up Dd in an hour. I plan to take the dog out for a long walk and then do some house work. Shopping later today. I am in the market for a plant stand for in front of the slider. I want a rectangular one. Home Goods here I come!

I have already done 2 loads of laundry and cleaned part of the kitchen this morning. I'm feeling accomplished and the day just started.

Morning all. Soggy here too. Doing laundry and cleaning kitchen. Had my coffee and some food. Now I'm just waiting for the phone to ring while I putter around the house. IKWTDS I saw a cool triangular plant stand at home goods a few weeks ago.

It's ok. I hate the not knowing. It's good if I get called in for a few hours, the money is nice.

Plus it forces me to stay home and get some things done. I can go out in town and do a few things but nothing like walmart because it would take forever to get out. The general surgeon on call this weekend likes to do cases. If something pops up he will call us in.

Back when I was still cutting my own grass, I'd usually start by 8am. On a Thursday, if possible. (I never mowed on the weekend.)

Everyone was off to work or school by then. Quiet time ended at 7am., in our city. So, I'd get it done while it was still cool out. (Cool being a relative term, in Texas.) wink

DH is cooking breakfast now. Going to try to power thru to get as much done as possible by 2:00 and then give myself the rest of the day off. Tomorrow I have a Sip and See to meet my cousin's new baby.

No real chores that need doing.

A and I are dealing with the sinus infection thing. Beginning to think it wasn't just allergies. J had it, then A started feeling bad Wednesday and I started yesterday.

Sore throat, congestion, cough. A has the bonus ear ache.

Oh well. We all have antibiotics.

We are also awaiting severe thunderstorms with possible tornados between now and Monday.

I got a nice walk in. I went about 2.5 miles, before I started dripping sweat. I need to get out there earlier tomorrow, before the sun is high in the sky.

Oh well, I will pick a shady route, and get another mile or so in, in a bit. smile

I should probably go pull a few weeds in my flower beds. Another excuse to get back outside, with it's nice! wink

Busy day today but it's not raining at least. Got up early to be the first one at the lab for my fasting blood draw before my follow up appt with my MD next week. Dropped off a bag of food for the Food Bank community drive. I was a bit early at 0715 when the event starts at 0800, but the volunteers setting up were happy for the donation. Visiting with my senior and other friends today. Have to pick up a birthday cake for one of my friends as well. It is my turn to pick up dinner this week.

I can take it easy tomorrow after I get my shopping done. Have to make sure to pick up a few things in preparation for my surgery on the 24th. smile

Holding myself accountable here with my school work. I have finished three projects today. An article Summary and Interview report for Abnormal Psych and a PP for Assessment an Documentation.

I "should" start the reading for my last test in Abnormal Psych.

Tomorrow I can start on the remaining three projects. Plus the regular weekly homework.

I was up early today, Corgi needed a nail trim bad. I like to get to the vet right when they open to minimize the chances of running into too many other dogs. The plan worked and there was no one else there. After, I took him to McDonalds. The girl at the drive thru said "oh my gosh, your dog is amazing! A corgi, right?" Corgi just looked at her with a look that said - well hello there, do you have hash brown for me??

I've been helping my dad with yard work the rest of the day. We are taking a break, he just goes, do you have any other plans for today? You know, other than slave labor? Lol
