 We used to have a 16 year old sex offender who lived on our street.  We found out because he told DS.  He used to brag about how he sodomized his cousin.  When we talked to the police they said to be really careful with the sex offender list.  They said it doesn't list their crime so it could be anything from peeing in a park late a night to a 19 year old having sex with a 15 year old to a real hard core predator.

Do you have to pay for watchdog? And does it tell you specifically about the conviction? Like the age of the victim? Just wondering.

 No.  Just google family watchdog.  Put in your state and zip code - you can even put in your address if you want to narrow it to your neighborhood.  A map will come up and you can zoom in or out.  You can click on the little green or red boxes and the person will come up and then there are tabs to go over to what they did.  Within a couple of miles of me I have an internet predator and an aggravated child molester.  Lovely.

 Yep. Here's one that's near me (but sill several miles away):

Military Conviction- Indecent acts with a minor under 16 years

Military Conviction of indecent acts involving an 11 year old girl

I tried it. It doesn't recognize my address but gave me a general map of the area. There's only one in my area and it didn't give me his conviction.
