There's another drone attack incident in the news, and I keep reading that people object to

our military using drones to attack terrorists.

 

Why? Why is it somehow worse to do this with unmanned aircraft instead of planes with pilots?

Really. My only objection is when they target U.S. citizens.

 Drones are the military fire power of the future.  Result will be a significant reduction of injuries and worse for our military which results in cost savings on the medical and disability.  Only thing is, the drone bill will increase significantly since many will be destroyed or lost on missions so we will have to continuously buy them.  I have no issue with that given the decrease in our military death and injuries.

The choice of targets is not determined by whether or not the pilot is INSIDE the aircraft, or  sitting at a computer in Arlington, VA.
