I can't wait for it to come out. That movie freaked my sister out so bad she slept with her bedroom light on for a month.  My brother and I would randomly blurt out "tthey're hereeeee" and she would freak out all over again. she will most definitely be getting a text or two from me.

The Exorcist is the one that freaked me out. And I watched the edited, watered down TV version.

it still scares that crap out of me.

I have friends who always want to go to Georgetown when they visit so they can see where The Exorcist was filmed. It was a scary movie, and based on a true story about a boy, not a girl.

The Omen was good, too. Poltergeist never did much for me, but I was going through a difficult time in life and was probably distracted. I should watch it again.

DD11 said something so horribly inappropriate last night and I could not stop laughing. She wants to have a Pitch Perfect sleepover party and have a rif-off singing competition and a "burrito" toss game and watch the movie. But what really got me is when she said she wants the party favors to be rape whistles. Rape whistles. That is horrible. And I couldn't stop laughing. I told her RAPE is not funny and that you couldn't do rape whistles as PARTY favors and she wanted to know why I was laughing if it wasn't funny. I had to explain the absolute and complete ABSURDITY of her suggestion. We've decided on scarves.

"Don't blow it unless it's actually happening!"

In the movie, they give rape whistles to the incoming female freshmen.

I wear a whistle around the house and blow it when my boys are out of control and aren't listening to me. Saves from having to scream.

Ah, yes, the steps. Right next to a gas station. I've run up and down those steps many times.

Avengers tickets purchased! Our theater doesn't have online sales so I had to go in person. Got there right when the doors opened. Every one was buying tickets for the same show. I bet it's sold out before 5pm.

The Omen is still good. Classic.

Poltergeist is a fun scary movie. I like those.

The ones you walk out of the theater laughing at each other for jumping.

The Friday the 13th, Nightmare and Halloween movies are the same kind of fun.

I understand the Amityville house has been drastically remodeled to stop the tourists.

Thanks.  But now I'm tired.  I've been going to bed earlier and earlier since I started on the pain meds.  Last night I couldn't sleep and ended up going to bed at six am.  I've had like four hours of sleep.  And tomorrow I have to go buy dog food.  I will probably spend $150 on dog food.

I should take some time after a six class semester.  But I think I am officially insane.  I have four classes this summer, two for each session.  No stats for this degree, thank God!  All my GenEds are done.bbthese are all specific to the Human Services Gerontology degree.

Part of it is I need to finish so I can go back to work full time.  DH does not know when his job will end.  Definitely by mid 2016.  He covers the medical insurance that I need.  ACA would be too expensive.

This schedule will have me graduating in December, hopefully with new job in January.

Awesome!  I feel the pain on the job loss. Going through that now.  My job will end in a few months but all the education I did earlier has put me in a good place to get a new job.  Your DH and I might me in the same line of work.  Just a guess.
