Great day yesterday. But I am hurting today. More walking and waiting to lay 60 wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery today.

Yesterday was Spy museum, Naval Reserve museum and a Smithsonian. Almost forgot the sculpture gardens too.

I've done the mall walk many times,  it is quite the workout.  Have you done the Holocaust Museum?  I am wondering if it is still really crowded.  It's a popular one!

Not much on the plate today. Dog grooming, pedicure, more studying up for the interview. It going to be in the 80's today, I may just sit on the deck to do my studying.

Howdy.

Recovering from yesterday. Was really stiff and sore last night. Not real sure why.

Gonna be 80 here too.

So sad. Just saw a commercial for Merci chocolates and they used the ZZ Top I THANK YOU song and really watered it down.

I think my rash may be shingles. I don't have any energy. I need to workout and don't even have the energy to shower.

If you think that you need to go to the doctor as soon as possible.

I've seen shingles on two different people. They were in so much pain.

Hope for your sake it isnt.

I really don't know what it is. It fits the shingles description. It's all over my midsection and wraps around one side then goes up my neck and down my arm on that side only. They kind of look like little bite marks or pimples. Right now they itch something serious. And since I broke out I've been extremely fatigued. Weird symptoms but yeah, there it is. Yesterday I slept almost all day.

That actually  makes sense.  Most pharmacies offer the shingles vaccine, perhaps you could consult your pharmacist?

I'm thinking about running up to the minor ER. The doc in the box. I'm seriously fatigued. The thought of showering makes me tired. I just think I need to do something because the arm that has it is all tingly and the itching is driving me nuts. I would post a picture but it would qualify as porn. lol It's all up under my breasts.

I hope you have someone to drive you. Don't wait, most doc in the box places close by 5 or 6 on Sundays, possibly by 4:00.

Have you taken an antihistamine, in case it really IS an allergic reaction?

I can't take antihistamines. Which sucks. Our doc in the box closes at six. But the pharmacies close at five. I think I'm going to get ready to go here in a few minutes. My neck rash is killing me. Plus I've been a little nauseated too. Ugh. I feel like a leper.

Well then take a nice vaca in Hawaii! biggrin

Seriously it does suck,  Get yourself to the doc.  Skin stuff is so awful.  I know, I have creeping crud too, not as bad as yours, but I get the itching part.

I'm trying to laugh but I feel like crap.  Some of the bumps are starting to hurt.  I just got out of the shower.  I'm going to head to the doc in the box when I'm done drying my hair.

Well I now have blue finger nails. Painted them for the first time in years.

Why not, right?

Got another letter from the ex. He has been vigilant in sending them. I haven't responding to a single one. But he has sent one a month for two years now. Don't really know what to think. I know what I feel. I feel like I could never trust him. But it's been more than a decade since I have talked to him.

I don't know.

Thanks.  I am leaving right now for the doc in the box.  Will report in when I get home.

So, back from the doc in the box. He claims I have bed bug bites. I call bullchit. He couldn't explain why the bites were not on my lower body, right side, or back. Only on my chest, stomach, and left side. He gave me a shot to help with the itching and said we'd need to get an exterminator. I asked the pharmacist and he said they have spray and they sell mattress covers for bed bugs. So I bought the spray and the mattress cover. I came home and stripped down the bed. I don't see anything. Plus, I sleep on a temperpedic thing. I'm not sure they can live on that. But I'm washing all the bedding in hot water. I read that if you dry the stuff for at least half an hour in the dryer it will kill them. I'm not sure I'm going to attempt to spray with the dogs here.

Bed bugs don't like heat. If you take a hair dryer and use it to heat the edges (binding) of the mattress where they usually hide, you will see little black dots moving around,

IF THEY ARE THERE.

Don't be shy with the hair dryer.

Okay. I'm going to try that. But I don't think there are bed bugs.

I spent a few minutes going down the seam of the mattress with the hair dryer on super hot setting. I saw NOTHING. Not even a tiny spec. I honestly don't think it's bed bugs. Why would the bed bugs only bite one side of me? The left side is covered and the right has only three specs on it. My front is COVERED. Not a single one on my back. Nothing on my legs. I'm just not buying the bed bug thing.

At least you got a shot to help with the itching;  hope it's better tomorrow, regardless the cause.

Thanks.  I'm not itching nearly as bad as I was.  He told me the worst thing I could do was scratch.  Gee, thanks.  I'm TRYING not to.  DH is angry.  He says the doc in a box is full of it.  He wants me to go to our regular doc tomorrow.

LOL I'm still really really exhausted and kind of achy. I don't think bed bugs do that!

Didn't you say a while back that one of your dog's has something similar?

We can get things from our dogs.

Thanks all. I'm tired. Really tired. The redness seems to be receding. I just have some smallerish red blotches and in the middle it looks like a bite mark. No idea what it is. If it's still getting better tomorrow I'll just wait to see how it goes. Maybe just get some extra sleep. The shot definitely helped because I'm not itching as much.
