I don't care for it either.

Is it supposed to look "distressed?"

We ended up with something similar.

Back to the doctor. I took my last pill this morning, but my poision ivy isn't better. Actually, it's worse. My arms look horrible, but they don't itch at all. The only part that itches is a new patch on my neck

She was probably dumped. Wayne found her outside the plant.

It's a miracle she hadn't been hit by a car, or truck.

He called me to come and get her. She was so tiny.

That was 6 years ago, this June.smile

It sounds like the plant winds up with a lot of dumped kitties.  There is a place here that builds stairs & has a lot of employees.  It was the dumping ground for kitties.  They let them stay to keep the mice away & had cases of food to feed them.  My ex worked there for a time & brought home a kitty.  She was pregnant but we didn't know until later.

I know what you mean, Lexxy. We've rescued several kittens from around the plant.

Poor Dusty. She was half starved. And had a ton of fleas.

I took her home and gave her a bath. And took her right to the Vet. They gave her a pill to kill the fleas.

Thank God I took her right away. The Vet said she would have probably died by the next day.

Flea anemia, is what he called it. They had about sucked all the blood out of her.

I had never heard of flea anemia before. I was shocked.

Dusty is a lucky girl. We found her in the nick of time.smile

Today is a beautiful day! I am just about to start my last final for this semester and then I will be done for two weeks!

We had a great weekend in DC. We went to the International Spy Museum, lunched at Hill Country Market BBQ, went to the Naval Reserve Museum and then the Smithsonian of Natural History. The Butterfly Exhibit that I wanted to see closed 5 minutes before we got there. But DH got to see the T-Rex.

The laying of the wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a great experience. There was a decent turnout this year. Here is a pic of most of the wreaths that the Odd Fellows laid and a pic of the ceremony we had at the Amphitheater. We filled about 1/3 of the Amphitheater
