15 years is pretty extreme. I can see some punishment, though. They should know better.

 Ahhh, different thread.  Middle of the night?  Into someone's room?  No one should just be walking in, and the roommate was an adult, and it was not on display.  STILL not comparable to exhibiting your own porno on a public beach in front of families on purpose.

An 85+ y.o. man was being prosecuted for possibly having sex (he denied it) with his long-time wife, 

who is in  a nursing home with Alzheimer's disease.

Her daughters complained that because their mother has dementia, she's not capable of consent.

The the nursing home complained and he was arrested.

This couple should be fined and punished and even a few days in jail or whatever. But, 15 years is ridiculous. Put them in the stockade in the public squares and let people pelt them with pies. Or, let them be flogged with a few lashes in the public square. We need to get back to that instead of 99 yrs in jail for everything.

 She didn't get 15 years - he did.  And he only got 15 years because he's a felon already probably still on parole.

Again, he only got that harsh of a punishment because he BROKE THE LAW WHILE ON PAROLE. Technically, they can thrown you back into jail and make you serve out your original sentence when you do that.

 Hahahahaha!  Ya'll are going to call me a bitch!  When I was single and dating (a long time ago) guys would send me naked pictures of themselves without me even asking.  They would automatically ask what I thought.  I would go on and on.  I would say things like, WOW, that's incredible.  I've never seen anything that big.  Are you sure that's natural?  And on and on.  They would be all excited and then I would say, Well, I've honestly never seen a mustache that big.  I surely thought it was fake.  Or, I definitely haven't ever seen ears like that.  I thought you must have had implants.

Usually they were so angry they stopped talking to me.

HAHAHA.

When I was in my mid 30's, I had some guy send me his pic and he looked about 75. He went on and on about how much we have in common, etc. So I wrote back and said his pic was great, we do in fact sound like we are meant to be. Oh, and here's a more recent pic of myself. Then I sent him a picture of a woman who was more his age with my same hair, eyes, etc. Attractive, but definitely much older. Never heard from him again.
