TOTALLY GEEKED!

Yee Haw! My sister Irene, is flying into DFW this morning!

She has to do some property visits in Dallas.

And, she thinks she'll be done by 4 pm.

So, she will head over to our house, for dinner, and a visit!

I pray, it doesn't rain. I want to do steak and salmon, on the grill!

Next interview is later today via phone. Hopefully this will be the last one and we can move on to an actual offer.

Supposed to be in the high 80's today so I am going to try to find a private office to use at work for my phone call. I know that sounds like not such a good idea but sitting in my car in that type of heat will be awful.

It didn't freeze here last night!!! Our garden is safe!!

DH and I removed all the covering already. The plants need sunshine after all the stormy weather and cold. We turned the heat on yesterday...

We endured tornado sirens on Sunday. Wow, what a stormy day!

I'm vegging out today.

Actually, no power will be down. The electricians are here to wire the swimming pool. He said they don't turn off power. Who knew.

Morning all. I called out of work today with migraine issues that kept me awake from 1:30 to about 5:00. And I feel hungover now even tho I did not take any meds. I broke down and turned the AC on yesterday. The heat and humidity and sunburn was just too much. So I will work tomorrow instead.

Today, I will try to take it easy. I have some stuff I need to vacuum seal and put away. I can finish the laundry that did not get done over the weekend. I have not even opened the curtains yet. So not motivated today.

 Yeah, they're adding a slot in the breaker box for it.  He's down in the basement now.  He said he might need to cut into the drywall but will try not to.

How soon will you be able to enjoy the new pool? 

Not really sure. Hopefully soon! They still have tile/coping, deck/final grading, plaster and fill. We're responsible for making sure our fence & gates meet code, final grading, landscaping, and final county inspection.

Waiting for DS to get up. Trying to decide what I want to do first.

 LOL I didn't mean it like that!  I always feel bad because I come in when half the day is over and everyone has already posted so much and I'm just like, It'll take me till night time to cover everything!  Then I feel even worse that I'm that lazy.  But this is the one thread I read.  If I read nothing else for the day I read this.  I honestly don't have time to read all the other threads.  But I like this one because I kind of get a feel of what the geeks are doing for the day.  In a bizarre and weird way it makes me feel like I belong.

Well, my day has been productive so far, NOT. I made myself a ham and cheese sandwich. And have been in my chair and on my computer most of the day while dozing. Oh, and I filled my water bottle too.

No tickling me please. I cannot be responsible for my actions. Last time DH tried to tickle me, I almost broke his nose. I react violently. Probably because older brother used to torture me with it for hours on end.
