Well, I would love to vent but people here would say pretty crappy things about me, so...

I just read this morning that Sony is considering remaking "The Craft" and the cultists are going crazy. What is it about remakes that has everyone crapping their pantaloons? It is the studio's money to do with as they decide, and it is not as if you HAVE to watch the remake if you don't want to, right? AND it also isn't like the remake unmakes the original, right? So why the freak out? I don't get it...
I have never heard of the craft. Sorry you have a cold.

They are afraid they will ruin it.

Ruin what? How? I don't get it. If someone was to "redo" the Mona Lisa, will the original be ruined too?

It's like being disrespectful to the original. Why isn't the original good enough? And then remakes rarely do the original justice and the movie gets bad press.

I guess when it comes to certain things imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery...
Yes. The studio or who ever can remake what ever movie they choose.
But it is rarely as good as the originals.
Although I will say I am looking forward to the Poltergeist remake and the trailer for Jurassic World looks good too.

Oh and did I mention that the boys' school is starting 10 minutes earlier this morning?
Apparently the Geometry end of the year/end of the course test is longer than usual.
I don't know how much difference 10 minutes is going to make.

I still fail to see the issue.
Entertainment cultists do not see reason where the target of their love and obsession is directed.
I would be very unhappy if they attempted to remake The Princess Bride or Gone With the Wind.

I love hanging out in a hammock. Except we don't have one. Getting one is a few years away yet.
My schedule is off for the next few weeks. Today is an off day for me. I work Wed & Fri this week. Next week, I work Mon & Wed. The following week, Wed & Fri. Then back to normal Tues/Thurs.
School starts again on Monday but I only have two classes.
I've done some gardening this morning already. AM making breakfast now and will clean the kitchen floor next. Only two loads of laundry to get done today.
Good afternoon everyone. It is absolutely divine weather here yesterday & today. I opened my doors & windows last night & aired my house out well. I slept like a rock with the chilly breeze coming in the cracked window. I hope for the same tonight.

I got unfriended from some hag who lied about me at work and got mad at ME when I found out and told the person who let me know she was a liar. Funny thing is I'm one of the few people who have defended her again all the people who hate her.

Indeed! Indeed! I may boot may boot a few more from the mean girl click. They are getting ridicoulous.
Thanks all. Not sure it's even safe to talk about here.
