I never spend less than $200 on every Walmart trip, lol.
This is me. And they have a lot of things online that they don't have in the store. Plus, I like that you can ship to store free.

Well I know for a fact that it happens there. When I find out for a fact it happens at other places, I won't risk eating their food and getting sick there either. I can only deal with the info I have. And this info was hand delivered to me. I didn't seek it out.
Gosh MM, I guess it depends on the area that you live in.
The Walmart stores that are near my neighborhood are nice and clean, and well stocked.
The employees are friendly and helpful.
The folks who shop there, look nothing like the People of Walmart site.
I shop in Walmart all the time.
I've never run into a problem.
(Maybe my area is just odd!)
I am sure it does depend on the area. The ones I have been in were disgusting. The people shopping there were worse, and the employees were downright pathetic. Talking on their cell phones while ringing out customers. And like Vette said, it takes about an hour to check out the lines are SO long. The shelves are usually empty or just a total mess. I Really don't think the prices are that great either. You might save a few cents on each item. But if you buy 100 items and save 2-3 cents on each one...well for that savings, I would rather go to a clean store with friendly employees, customers who arent half naked and shorter lines. It's worth the extra dollar or two.

The Wal-Mart nearest me has wood floors. The few times I've been in there it was immaculate. The only time there is a line is around Christmas. I've never stood in line for more than a few minutes. BUT, my town is very very picky about presentation. They decide what landscaping you can use, they decide the brick being used to build new businesses. We also have a no billboard law.

The Walmarts in my area are no more or less clean than any other store. I don't pin most store cleanliness issues on employees because of piggish customers who think the store is their trash can. The employees are generally helpful but it can be hard to find one.
I occasionally see People of Walmart candidates but have to wonder what happened in their life to make them think their attire/behavior is even remotely ok.

The stores I have been in that were dirty, were not customer dirty. They were baked on in, employees don't care enough to keep it clean dirty. Grimy floors dirty. That isn't the customer's fault. And even if it was, it's the employees' job to clean it up. People **** on the floors when I worked at Target, I cleaned it up. I didn't let it just sit there. The way a store looks is absolutely 100% the responsibility of that team that works there.

Well, that's going to vary store by store. We have 5 Kroger stores around us. A couple are wonderful, a couple are horrible, and one is just average. The manager and the employees of the individual stores matter greatly.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, and have experienced the entire gambit of Walmart stores. All the way from the "I wouldn't go in there without a haz-mat suit" at the bottom, up to the "that floor looks clean enough to eat off of!" at the top.
