How would a person go about getting a red light put in?
There is another accident where Caitlyn had her wreck this morning.
That makes 4 in one day.
Here is the thing.
Where these happen is on a main state Highway.
There is a flea market there and while this is a busy road any way. On the weekend it becomes insane.
Every weekend there is some kind of accident there.

Here in TX, it is TXDOT - Texas Department of Transportation. When a community requests a light, they do a survey to find out how much traffic volume there is, and how many accidents have happened at the site, fatalities, injuries, etc. It usually takes about a year.
Our community requested an "upgrade" from a blinking light to a full traffic light, but were denied because there wasn't enough traffic, and the only two fatalities were pedestrians. We can apply again in a year.
But the number of accidents that happen there are substantial.
I am hoping enough to make it so.

I hope that never happens. We have had a couple air lifted out because of wrecks at this place.
We live less than a quarter mile from it. We hear it all the time.
