 We are letting management deal with it. She will have to produce a doctor note. We would not have been suspicious if her story hadn't changed several times over the weekend. Who let an 8 year old ride in the front seat without a seat belt?!

 She was with someone else. This is not the first time this girl has called out due to a car accident.

We have a policy that calling out the day before or after a holiday forfeits holiday pay. I bet she forgot that.

I have peace and quiet, for real this time. Went to breakfast with Mom and companion and they are on their merry way to brothers for several days. There were no more fights between me & mom, just the loudness.

Finished my almost all my gardening. I am not getting any more containers so I will give neighbor the rest of what did not get planted. Neighbor is going to get me the rest of the dirt I need for the vegetable garden but I don't know when.

Currently working on homework that is due tomorrow night. Then, I hope to try to get a little ahead. At least caught up with homework. Mom's visit has thrown a wrench in the timeline.

#2's coughed changed so I took him back to ped. Put him on antibiotics and different asthma medicine temporarily until this clears up. Wrote him a note to refrain from PE but otherwise can return to school. Then learned that cleaning crew at ped's office tripped the breaker on Saturday. No power meant no refrigeration for the allergy meds. So now asthma doctor has to mix them again which will set us back another week or two.

DH's back surgery will be July 15th.

 Ouch! I hurt just thinking about that. Take it easy.

Thanks, NAOW. The toe will recover. The nail is not damaged, but the joint sure is. The whole toe is black and blue, front and back, the bottom of my foot is also bruised.
No shoes for me today.

 Oh my! When a frig stops working in a doctors office, it is not a good thing. Thousands of dollars worth of meds have to be thrown out. Wow, just wow.

Diva Upstairs who wanted the heat on when it was 65 outside -- her husband got a job in another city. They move out in July! Buh bye!

Our move out date has been suspended. We have no idea when we are moving and no clue where. So that's going to be fun. I hope it isn't when my BIL-SIL and nephew and niece are here for a visit. Nothing says I love you like helping me move!

 Staff changes. Our chaplin just took a job elsewhere (she was a hot mess so this is actually good news) and so her housing is now open. Also, we have 2 new hires coming in who will need housing. So the grand plan needs reworked. It's like dominoes - when one falls, the rest fall too. Until they sort out all changes, no one moves. 

They told DH this morning that they would give us a housing allowance, we could move off campus if we wanted to. That is good news but in our town, there are literally no vacancies anywhere. Places typically don't even hit the market - if you don't know someone who has something up for rent, you have zero chance of getting it. The only thing advertised right now is section 8 housing. This has the potential to be great news, IF I can find something. That's a big IF.
