Well, if he is taking female hormones, I doubt that member will function as it used too. And, to transition, some doctors require that the patient live for one year as a female and take the hormones before they can complete the full transition. But, there are other issues with full transition. That isn't just a sex organ but also integral to urinary function and so forth. So, I am sure that is a far trickier operation with more systems to consider.
The thing is, if it requires hours and hours of plastic surgery, then is that really your "authentic self"? And, what about the average person who can't afford a Hollywood Plastic surgeon? So, yeah, the rich few can pull off the look they want, but most can't.
Lady Gaga Snerd, I agree with all 4 of your most recent posts. But, his choice to keep his "member" (as you call it), isn't per doctor's orders. He doesn't want to have it converted into a vagina.

IMO, he's not a woman if he has a penis. So I'll keep calling him "him".
I wonder what the legal definitions of male and female are. They need to come up with specific anatomical definitions, if they haven't already.

No, I'm not big on PC in this case. If transgendered people are a reality, then a legal or medical definition of male and female is necessary. Because eventually someone is going to get legal about it if they haven't already. So far I've heard only that the gender the person prefers to be known as is the gender they are. I don't think I agree with that. There needs to be a specific dividing line that can be used when the lawsuits start. Maybe it already exists.

Blankie, that is exactly what they Don't want. They want the lines to be blurred so one day you can be a male, next day a female, then a HE/She. She on the top, he on the bottom or vice versa.

Yeah, I get it. But it makes it pretty hard to say who can go in which restroom that way.

You aren't supposed to say. It's a free for all. Anyone can decide anything they please.

Well, haven't you heard? Places are passing laws saying they can use whatever bathroom they want, and you can't question it.

I agree. Specific, frozen in place, specific standards for "what is a male, what is a female" need to be enacted somewhere for that very reason. And I agree he's not a woman if he has a penis. I'll keep calling him "him" as well.
Quick question to all the lady Geeks. If you've ever shared a locker room with other women and could see their private parts, how many of them had penises?

This is called transfluid. Transfluid people feel differently every day about who they are. One day they are a man, the a woman, the next a man, and so on. They are not comfortable defining themselves in any one role. And we now also have the Questioning. If you are Questioning that means you don't know who you are and are trying to figure it out. I am not sure how we are going to keep up with all this nonsense.
