Had a blast at the Taylor Swift concert last night in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field. She puts on an amazing show. I really didn't know what to expect since I had never seen her in concert but her show was really great. They also gave everyone a lightup bracelet when you came in and the bracelets were synced or controlled by them so they would light up at different times to create different effects across the audience. Like they would alternate colors or all light up red and flash on and off, etc. This was a really cool thing I have never seen before. She really is a talented young lady.

I want to take DD to the concert in my area but the tickets are extremely expensive so I've shelved it for this year.  As soon as next year's tour tickets go on sale I will pounce.  I may splurge for the good seats next year but need to find a friend or her's and mom willing to go for the pricey seats.

I heard this story last week.

http://fox8.com/2015/05/31/teens-say-bracelets-from-taylor-swift-concert-saved-their-lives/

BATON ROUGE – A young girl is thanking one of her idols after she was rescued following a car accident.

Elizabeth Dazzio was driving her sister, Caroline, and another friend home after the Taylor Swift concert when she fell asleep at the wheel, according to WBRZ.

“You could smell the gas and smoke,” Caroline said. “I was just thinking we need to get out of this car.”

Of their three phones, two were dead and the third was missing.

The girls then decided to use their bracelets like a flare to get the attention of passing drivers.

Finally, someone noticed.

A woman and man stopped and helped get all three girls out and called for fire responders.

Taylor Swift heard about the story and tweeted her condolences.

Wow, scary. The bracelet thing sounds interesting. My brother took his daughter to see her. He said it was a very good concert. Her last few songs I have to admit I've enjoyed. Don't like her country stuff much. Her voice is too whiny for it.

Probably take the boys to the club today to play tennis.

Since they walked away after this crash, I'd guarantee that they had their seatbelts on, and the airbags worked.

Happy birthday to Paul.

Just another Sunday around here. Ball going on across the road

8 fields directly across from me, another 8 to the left of them. All full.

Lots of cheering going on. I sometimes pretend it's for me.

Taylor Swift is ok. I don't care anything about seeing her in concert. But if she comes on the radio, I won't turn it.

Her song Shake It Off was rewritten and used to make an awesome parody though. The parody has over 3 million views. 2 million in the first week.

DH googled life insurance today. Then he told me not to die. I told him the next thing he should google is arsenic poisoning.

Happy Bday to Paul!

It was DH's bday yesterday and he got an email sent to his work address from his mother. Thinking about you, I love you, happy birthday, etc. We have not spoken to her in 10 years. Every once in awhile she googles him and sends him an email or a package of some sort. She is toxic and emotionally and occasionally physically abused him growing up. We cut her out of our lives when she threw a tantrum at her mother's funeral. The funeral director had to escort her out as she was yelling and screaming about what a whore I was and how DH was a low life piece of scum. She is classy like that. So she sends him an email for his birthday. Never once has she apologized for her behavior. Because she doesn't think she did anything wrong. IF she apologized, we might consider letting her back in our lives. But she needs to apologize - and because she knows she did something wrong, not because someone told her to.

Thanks.

Whenever she reaches out like this I just want to smack her. I wish she would leave us alone. But if I were in her position, at what point would I quit trying? Probably never. But then again, I wouldn't have done the things she did either.

Guess what? It's been a day of I don't want to do anything! I have not left the house. I showered and that's enough. I've been working on finishing this gosh darn page in my Secret Garden coloring book! It's been a journey but I'm almost there!

Thank you!  It's not the patience so much that gets me... it's trying to decide what colors to use on every.single. thing. on the page that gets me.  I struggle with that.

Yes, for work.  Excited?  I dunno.  He's been all over the world for work.  I don't think he's excited.  He's just Meh, it's work.

Honestly that's probably the best attitude to have. Go and work and come home.

The kids are trying to talk him into buying them some chocolate. Norway has some of the best chocolate in the world. When he's on US ground he is not allowed to leave the work site. He doesn't know what the rules are there.
