The mom bunched up the back of the kid's t-shirt and used it to hang him from a closet hook.

His face is blurred out so we can't know whether he was laughing or crying or happy or sad .

Eh, I've seen people do that just to be funny. It would matter if the kid was laughing or crying and if it was for fun or for punishment. I can see my DD thinking that was hilarious and asking for us to do it and take her picture, but I wouldn't do it just because I wouldn't want to damage the wall.

When DS1 was a toddler, I was selling pacemakers and had a supply of very strong pacemaker magnets.

One time I put one in the back of his shirt and attached him to the refrigerator door.

He stopped thinking it was funny after a few seconds, so that ended that.
