Is exactly where I told them they should move us when this whole thing began.

There is a single woman in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. She has seniority but she has no kids and she doesn't have a job title that would allow her better housing. I told them from the start that's where they should put us. But, true to male egos, it wasn't a good idea until THEY thought of it. I want to scream.
Oh, she is one of our dearest friends too. So that won't be awkward at all. But that's the boarding school shuffle for you. Everyone has lived in everyone else's house at one point or another.
Makes you want to slap them up the back of the head, doesn't it.
Glad you will be moving to a larger house though. So, a WIN!

Ultimately it is a win. But we could have sorted this out 2 months ago! I have 4 people coming to stay with us over the 4th of July so I hope we are moved in by then!

Now...I can start packing...and apologizing to our friend...

I'm going to skip over all the bickering......I liked Magic Mike. Yes, it had a story, I didn't care. I went to see the dancing. The fact that it was half naked hot guys was a bonus. I would have enjoyed the dancing fully clothed. And no, my opinion would not change if it had been women. I'm just as likely to enjoy the half naked women dancing.

I don't care of that makes me shallow, I enjoyed it and I will definitely be making plans to see the new one.

One of the girls here is from Dubai and she lived in the south here as well so it's a combo of Dubai-English and southern U.S. accent. She is a riot to listen to.

This old lady is bushed. DGS and I redid the lawn furniture and stained the back deck.

It all looks great!

Tomorrow he will be gone all day, so I have to put the clear sealer on all by myself. (crying)

of course, if its like last time, he will find no creature and no evidence and tell me I'm hearing things. Last fall we did fill in the hole I think Fred was using. So, not sure how the new one is getting in, I have named him Bob

Would you donate money to a GoFundMe of someone you didn't know? There is a girl from my city who is 16 years old and fighting cancer. I saw the page shared by another business I follow. I want to donate but when I mentioned it to DH he looked at me like I had two heads and asked how I knew if it was true. Am I too naive or is he too jaded?

This was my day! The Pooch is suitably traumatized by being dressed in a life jacket, put on a paddleboard and taken out into the ocean. It was his first board trip! He loves water, but apparently isn't too keen on the board yet!

I think the one accent that threw me the most was the young lady here from the Ivory Coast. She worked under me for a semester. Beautiful young woman all around.
