want a Build a Bear for Father's Day?   Cracked me up in my email today - get 40% savings on Father's Day gifts at Build-a Bear.  I know that's what my DH has been hoping for.  LOL!

What do the guys want for Father's Day?

If it's a nice day, we'll do a cookout with the kids.

That's all that Wayne really wants.

And, I'm sure the kids will find some cute cards for him.smile

What do the guys want for Father's Day?

From their wives?

The same thing they want for Christmas, their birthday, anniversary, Feburary 15th....

Probably just going out to lunch and giving him some peace and quiet for a nice day off.

I want a day when I can do NOTHING.

Oh, and since we will be at a wedding the night before--my kid can drive home so I can nap.

Baby A's birthday is on Father's day this year, so if DH was home we would likely celebrate Father's day the day before.

I gave him a gift card for Google play before he left.

Flan has it right.

From my kids, they will be buying a steak dinner, and we will play some strange card / board games. DS1 has some friends who started a board game company, he contributed to their crowd-funding, so he gets every new game they bring out.

Would they want a random test family to try these games? We play games a lot.

I don't know what the day will hold. My brother and his kids will probably be here.

Dad is loathe to go to a restaurant that day. Maybe something on the grill.

The kids and I got him a new Hawaiian shirt, it's solid blue but has a tropical imprint to it, and a ballcap and card.

Dad will be happy that the yard is mowed and took care of.

My husband wants to go do some nature type thing. I'm trying to get him a short list of options. Oh the joy of planning something when someone doesn't really know what they want.

If the kids made him a build a bear, I'm sure he'd love it, but it's not exactly something he's hoping for. If the rain doesn't mess up out plan, we will be camping and the boys picked him out a really nice knife.

FWM knows what we got DH. Got him three very nice shirts at the outlet mall. And a picture frame for the dog. A plaque that says I love my dog. I need to go back to the outlet mall and get him some khaki shorts. We're also buying him a 25 pound tub of gummi worms as a joke.

I'll get you the names of some we like. They're probably available at Amazon.com .

I don't think "free" is an available option, sorry.

DH wants to go fishing!!! Who knew??

We had his 75th birthday party last Sunday - he knew our neighbors were invited over, but he didn't know about the other 20+ people who showed up! It was a blast!

He didn't ask for it, but I saw the glint in his eye when a fellow drummer got a cajon. So I got him one!

I'll take the Build-A-Bear. I love their Sandy bear, I bought 12 of them and used them as centerpieces at DD's baby shower.

Somehow I don't think DH will go for it if I buy him one for Father's Day.

You know that old trick, you buy them something that you want yourself. Terrible trick.
