As Pizza Hut launched its latest pie creation featuring a pigs-in-a-blanket crust this week, it has been added to a list of pies that continue offering a selection of interesting toppings and sometimes unimaginable additions.

These pizzas also can add to your waistline - a slice of the Pizza Hut Hot Dog Bites Pizza has an estimated 460 calories and 3,680 calories for a whole eight-slice pie.

It was also listed as the Worst New Pizza in Eat This, Not That! magazine's The Worst Pizzas in America 2015. The magazine has researched every pizza in America and has compiled a list of the worst for your health while suggesting relatively healthier alternatives.

According to the magazine, the Worst Pizza in America is Uno Chicago Grill's Chicago Classic Deep Dish Individual Pizza which has a whopping 2,300 calories.

That is more than the 2,000 calories the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommends the average woman eat per day.

The pie, which has crumbled sausage, mozzarella, chunky tomato sauce, and romano, also contains three days' worth of saturated fat and 4,910 milligrams of sodium - the sodium equivalent of 27 small bags of Lays potato chips.

Papa John’s Fritos Chili Pizza was the Worst Mashup Pizza with two slices containing 720 calories and 1,400 milligrams of sodium - this means a whole pie would have nearly 6,000 milligrams of sodium.

The sodium equivalent for just two slices is chucking five packets of salt into your mouth.

'Papa John’s seasonal concoction of pizza, beef chili and yes, Fritos is an insult to almost every cuisine known to man,' the magazine wrote.

'By our estimates, a whole pie would come salted up with nearly 6,000 mg of sodium!

'A better defense is a good offense, so start your meal off here with a few pieces of belly-filling protein in the form of wings or chicken strips. Consider it insurance against scarfing too many slices later on.'

Eat This, Not That! suggests instead eating one slice of Papa John's The Works Original Crust Pizza and three chicken strips with cheese dipping sauce, a meal that has nearly half the calories.
