TOPIC: Proud mother backs her 'brave' transgender 9-year-old son as he prepares to go back to school dressed as a girl
Now here is an example of a bad parenting decision. Instead of teaching her child how to channel this into proper outlets until he is old enough to actually KNOW, she is just giving into what is very likely a phase. And it's going to haunt him. He will be teased and bullied - and that isn't right, but it is reality.

Well put. I agree.
Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. At this age he's exploring his person-hood to see where he fits in. It's bad parenting to let him go to school in dresses. Girls do still wear pants and T's sometimes, don't they? Let him dress like one of those girls until he's old enough to know, with absolute certainty.
So tell me, do kids tease each other? - lilyofcourse

Kids tease harass and bully each other over things much simpler than wearing a dress to school. I went to school with some kids that had euneek (word purposefully misspelled) spellings of their names. They got bullied like crazy over something as simple and out of their control as that. If you don't think a boy in a dress would catch hell, you must live in a very polite place, with much politer than normal kids.
So tell me, are you a productive member of society?
flan
That was rude, low, and uncalled for, Flan. I'm sure Lily would rather have her health than to deal with having the health problems she does.
Lily sits in judgment of everyone...
If she can't take it, MAYBE she shouldn't dish it out.
flan
I asked you a question. You have yet to answer.
You are the one who needs to check what she dishes out.

Yep. My SS is ten and he told me they find a way around the bullchit PC crap they push down their throat.

Kids are fvckers. Even if there is nothing 'wrong' with you, they will tease you because of that. Everyone will get teased eventually. Some just more than others.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
So why would anyone purposefully put target on their 6 yr old?
That's pissed poor parenting in most anybody's book.

Oh my God! Well slap me silly! Flan actually answered a question.
Good girl.
It's a good thing you agree with them.

BECAUSE THE PARENTS ARE DOING WHAT THEY THINK IS BEST.
They have that right.
flan
So it's ok that these parents are doing what they thinks best because he "might" be transgendered but the other parents are murderers because they did what they thought was best for their kid but you disagree with their lifestyle. So this is how it works - If flan agrees with your choices anything you do is ok but if flan disagrees then you are lower than low. Nice...lol

There have been plenty of stories about kids rallying around a trans classmate, and this kid has two supportive parents and five siblings at her back.
She'll be fine.

No, he wont. he's already fvcked in the head.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.

No he is NOT.

BS. He's a 9'year old boy who thinks he's a girl. It's the very definition of fvcked in the head.

Reminds me of the bugs bunny cartoon where Elmer fudd the millionaire thinks he's a rabbit. The doctor keeps having to have him repeat: "I am Elmer J. Fudd, millionaire, I own a mansion und a yacht."

I agree with husker that this boy is screwed up and his mother is enjoying encouraging him.
However, there are additional definitions of fvcked in the head.
