The difference is that they aren't addicts living in a camper who are choosing drugs and alcohol or a life of sloth over getting up to work to support their children. But, I agree, parents aren't going to be thinking that an ear infection is possibly fatal. However, when they were trying to save their kid, mom is more worried about needles and "chemicals' than the life of her daughter. Hello. Something is off. However, should they be charged with trying to handle this at home? No. Unless there is some hard evidence that the kid slipped into a coma at home and they ignored it or something like that. They did seek medical attention and emergency care so they didn't totally eschew it so I don't think there is anything to charge necessarily.

As for the bubonic plague, that is scary. And, a terrible tragedy. And, most parents are just going to put their kid to bed thinking they have the flu and it will be gone in a few days.

 Try reading that again.

You want to convict them for who they are.

Accept I didn't see anything about this in the articles. Can someone quote where they were drug addicts and that the camper had no running water or electricity?

I keep trying to find that too, TD. There seems to be a lot of made up crap floating around here...

Good. I thought maybe there was another article I missed or something. When you have to make crap up to back up your argument then you (general you) don't really have an argument.

I know.  Where did it say the camper they lived in had no electricity or running water.  I didn't see that anywhere...

I remember there was a lot of discussion, but no proof either way...

There was a lot of assuming, and you know what they say about that.

Using facts always works better than making stuff up to suit your needs when trying to debate a subject.

You used these made up facts in order to declare them murders. So much for innocent until proven guilty.

It didn't say the other family was drug addicts or slothful either.

Basically, the little scenario I painted turned out to be true.

It has nothing to do with anything other than pure prejudice against people who you feel are beneath you.

Bunch of self righteous snobs and nothing more.

I don't know. How many?

That doesn't mean he is a drug addict.

Did it also say they were unemployed?  I don't remember that...

I think so, ohfour, because it mentioned not having money for a doctor.

That's doesn't mean they were unemployed.  Half of the country lives paycheck to paycheck to paycheck.  Maybe they didn't have enough money until the end of the week?

Having no money does not equal unemployed...

I looked.  It said he had an outstanding warrant for DUI and that they had no money.

That does not mean they were drug addicts or unemployed...

I did read the article and all the others that were connected and every bad thing you claimed about this family was made up in your head. Trying to pretend it said that somewhere is just stupid. If you really read that somewhere please provide a quote so I can stop laughing at your lame ass reasoning.

So you admit you never read the article and you just made stuff up? No wonder debating with you is like arguing with a child.
